re: 'date service completed': he did not finish the job. Let me first make clear that we gave him no opportunity to correct errors after the worst of them were found. We are paying qualified folks to fix these issues and will not allow Charles back into our home. We are still working to get all the issues identified and fixed. I am completing this report mid-June and hoping we'll have everything addressed by end-July. How did it go? HORRIBLE. Charles is a nice person but we hired him in part due to good ratings here as well as references and this was a huge error on our part. The painting was not even done correctly. I used a black sharpee to indicate medicine cabinet placement and you can still see it under the paint. Drywall mudding work is horrible, 'uneven' does not even cut it. The worst trouble includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Complete blockage of the drain on our utility sink in the basement because it was 100% closed with grout. 2. Complete blockage of the shower drain which he installed, then closed 100% with grout during his tile work in the shower. 3. No p-trap installed in the shower drain pipe. He blocked the sewer gas with grout instead. 4. Tile work in the shower is uneven beyond belief. Grout has holes in many places then globbed on in others. 5. Bathroom sink leaked due to incorrect installation, the drain gasket was out of place.

Great work, really nice guy, and extremely reasonable in his pricing.

Charles was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable in his work. His original estimate was more than I could afford, so we compromised on dates so he could do the job at a downtime for less money. He took pride in his work and doing the job right. He made suggestions that solved problems and made the final arrangement of cabinets and outlets very efficient. On two occasions, he removed cabinets so they would be better aligned and more symmetrical as the kitchen design changed. He was on time each morning, cleaned up each evening, and got the job done in the time he said he would. I strongly recommend his work.
