Roberts Renovations

I highly recommend you look elsewhere if you want an honest, dependable contractor. My dad hired Roberts’ Renovations to remodel his house. The company started the work, but once the work had been paid in full, approximately $50,000, they never came back to finish. Roberts has breached the contract and hasn’t been heard from since. He basically took the money and ran. I have added pictures of the contracts as well as my dad’s house as it sits.

Not good at all. They removed old roofing on back half of house & put tarps in the valleys only. After multiple calls he came & put an area above bedroom in new shingles but not entire area about half of that side still in felt paper only & entire other side above dining room left in felt paper only. We got storms on July 20th & rain poured inside the house- bedroom, kitchen & dining room. They kept saying don't worry we're fully insured. They installed new shingles on July 22nd. A week later he says his insurance doesn't cover anything with roofing. I filed a complaint with county attorney & they had multiple complaints already. I got in attic to see if new roof had any leaks after rain & discovered they hadn't replaced any of the bad sheeting- not a single spot was replaced. They put plastic over the bad spots & shingled over them. No flashing in valleys. They knocked a hole in sheeting removing old roof & that spot wasn't replaced either. They pushed the broken piece of sheeting back up & nailed a 2x4 to the under side of the sheeting to hold it up. They didn't even nail the 2x4 to the rafters. Now, I need to get the new roof taken off & re-done & repair the water damage on the inside.
