The morning of the 28th we woke up to a smoke filled house from our furnace wiring harness catching fire. We called Woodard at 7:30am to have them come look at what happened. They made sure we had turned off electrical to the furnace and said a technician would call us back at 8am so that we didn't have to pay the after hours charges. The technician called us back at exactly 8am and was at our house within a half hour. He assessed the damage and said he would need to look around for the part, but it may end up being better to replace the furnace because of the extensive damage. After an hour he called back to inform us he could replace the damaged parts for $600, but wouldn't know if anything else was damaged until that was replaced. Or he gave us 2 quotes on new furnaces. We went with the less expensive option of a new Coleman 95% efficiency furnace for $1700. That included the installation as well. They were able to install it that day! Which was a blessing since the weather was only 35 degrees that day. After they installed it, they realized that our thermostat and a part on the air conditioner had been damaged as well. They replaced the thermostat free of charge and came back the next day to replace the part on the air conditioner. They were amazing! The technicians were very kind and friendly. This was our first major incident in being new home owners and they were very understandable with our many questions and concerns.

I have a yearly contract with them. They come out twice a year. I pay $139 for a year. They are very thorough. I will use them again in the future.
