I gave Clint a punch list, he didn't complete it. He believes work was all done. When I insisted it be done, Clint told me he'd do the list, but I would have to pay for the materials. He was given two chances to complete the job and each time failed. He would come early in the morning, set the workers up then leave until 3PM. He did not oversee the work, and since employees did not speak English I could not communicate with them. Work began 2-16-2013, work was done daily for about 5 weeks, then I had to email him in May to see when he was coming back to finish up. He had to get me a new wall mirror since he broke mine and I was told he had forgotten about it, or was so busy, but assured me he would bring a new mirror. He did, but still believed the job was done. My mistake was paying him when he stated payment was needed instead of holding him accountable to complete the job per my instructions. The molding outside my bathroom was taken down to enlarge the closet. He replaced it with stapled wood. Said they no longer made the molding I had. It's literally stapled pieces of wood, not even painted, not even long pieces of wood. Probably went through a scrap pile to get enough pieces. I wish I could upload photos because they tell the story of sloppy workmanship. Actually there is so much wrong with his work that I don't have enough space. I did tell him that the work was so poor that even his wife would not have that bathroom in her home. Clint asked I write a review when I interviewed him for the job, so here it is.
Description of Work: Hired On Point Contracting, LLC. for complete tear down/remodel of my master bath and enlarge my closet. The workmanship is so sloppy it's embarrassing. Other contractors who have looked at it are amazed that a contractor would put their name on it. Not one piece of tile is flush on the walls, many tiles are cracked, grout oozed out around them, bathtub caulk fall off, so it's gummy around the tub, shower head hangs by a thread of silicone. Clint spread grout around the top of the tile as a decoration rather than adding a quarter round, light switches put into the tile, so not secure and not grounded since there is no reset buttons. Shower was custom built, but Clint told me to have a glass company handle since he couldn't. He put in the heated floor wrong, he had another contractor tear up floor and redo. Sloppy patch work on holes he put in wall for mirror light fixture. The list really goes on and on and on.
