The cut was good, my major complaint is that on more than one occasion my dog smelled like cigarette smoke, and I asked them to wash my dog again. Will not return.

The staff here are always so kind and helpful and you can tell they love animals. My dog gets excited when she sees the place and absolutely licks them to death! They were very helpful when we first got out dog. She is a Lab/Border Collie mix and sheds alot. We were going to have them cut her hair short and they took the time to explain what that would do to her coat (uneven growth) and how it would effect her appearance. They also showed me a deshedding tool that they use and even took the time to show me the place they order from and the type of tool to get. Cannot say enough good things about their service and quality work!

My experience gone very well. They are very professional and friendly while visiting. The pricing is reasonable. The facility is clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend this groomer to others.

I dropped my dogs off and I was told that I would receive a call when the dogs were ready. My husband is particular and told them that he wanted the dogs to look like they were going to a dog show when finished. Well, they did! The only complaint is that I didn't receive a call, but I ended up calling them because it was getting later in the day. Their prices were reasonable. I usually paid $50 each for grooming and that is what they charged also.

Called made my appointment for the very next day! (even thought they were booked solid) 10 Am Dropped my 78lb (all muscle) male, Stanadard Poodle off for a serious day of grooming. He was matted, dirty and had not been groomed in at least 4 to 5 months by a professional. Melinda, Elvis' groomer was confident she could de-mat my large curly mess of a lake dog and make him look like the King. He's Black, curly and easy to deal with but also big and has hair rather then fur. I was concerned he would need to be shaved bare on the legs? *Received mid day update phone call and another one when they were just about done. Melinda wanted me to inspect Elvis to see if I wanted anything changed or added. 5pm Pick Up -To my delight, I saw a majestic stud in the grooming room being finished. I was informed that he had been a big flirt and actually fell asleep while she was grooming him and laid his head on the lap of Melinda's sister who is also an experienced groomer. While Elvis is known to be this way all the time, I knew it was the vibe they gave off that made him so comfortable. I was impressed by their technique which was not like any other salon I had used before. Elvis was not forced to stand on a table or sit in a cage for hours at a time. It akes at least 6 hours to groom a dog with Elvis' hair and size. Poodles are actually water retrievers so you can imagine the effort they exerted after he had been in the lake and woods for months! We left happy and looking fantastic!!!!! This salon also offers boarding and will take your doggie out for a walk during the grooming day to stetch their legs and let them use the bathroom. Best across the board! No wonder they are soooo booked up all the time! Elvis was ready to go home but was also happier then he had ever been during a grooming day. End result - A sleek, fluffy, masculine haircut! Showed off his manly physique and looked like velvet. The cut was a sporty Lamb cut, with a rounded head or teddy bear face. (They didn't just throw up their hands and say oh too much work and shave him all the way down all over ) DOG GONE PRETTY is DOG GONE GOOD!

Talk about caring for you pet. These people have been in the animal care business for over 20 year and last year opened up their own storefront. Even the groomer we used to go to, now retired, referrs all her customers to Dog Gone Pretty. This is a top notch company. Do not hesitate to use.
