DILE REALTY & AUCTION CO

Will never recommend this company as the owner was dishonest and apparently when a woman says no, Dile has no respect for her decision. My husband and I were having a private conversation via cell phone, discussing the offer on our property when Dile took the phone from his hand, Stating he wanted to talk to me. Dile realized that I was telling my husband that it was a NO SALE. We had agreed if the house + 3 ac. lot didn't bring around $100,000 it would be a no sale. $60,000 bid vs building cost of $125,000. Jerry Dile  began to badger me to change my decision. He kept saying "I need an answer, I need to tell the buyers something, they are leaving!,call them back!, I need to tell them something!" I told him no sale then asked him how much I owed him for the auction. He began to tell me just how bad this was going to hurt his company and continued to apply pressure to make me change my answer. He offered to refund most of  his commission if I would change my mind. He then said if he did this, I would have to pay for the survey which was appx. $6500.. He later denied he said this. I had prayed about this auction and felt the amt of the offer was  my answer from God...we were NOT to sale my farm nor the house/lot. Finally he returned my husband's ph to him. I was told later that he agreed with Dile and my farm was sold along with the house/lot. From that moment forward I was in deep depression and do not recall most of the events for the next 2 months. My 13 yr old daughter thankfully  was responsible enough to take care of her younger sisters. I called Dile's office two times after that to speak with him. He was never there and never returned my calls. I do not feel Dile was respectful and honest during the auction and never want anyone else to have the horrible experience I did by using this auction company. I thought they were my Christian friends. Guess when there is money and pride involved, friendship and respect are out the window. The results have left me broken hearted and depressed and my childhood home and farm are gone forever.
