+ -1 moreSteven is a pleasure to week with. He and his crew arrived on time every day, were pleasant to be around, and did a pretty good job of cleaning up after themselves. They went above and beyond their project plans, even volunteering to throw away sacks of refuse I'd collected before they arrived and taking out my trash both weeks they were at my house. Steven really does seem to be able to do almost anything around the house: he's coming back in a couple of weeks to repair cracks in my driveway and apply a new top coat over it, as well as to refinish hardwood floors in my kitchen, breakfast room, foyer and powder room. For these two projects, he's given me an estimate of $500 plus materials.
Description of Work: Steven spent two weeks helping to get my house ready to be put on the real estate market. He and his crew removed all the wallpaper in the house, repaired dry wall in several rooms' walls and ceilings, and applied fresh primer and paint in 11 rooms. He also re-caulked the vanities and tubs in all bathrooms and the kitchen sink; repainted and installed new hardware on the front door; replaced mailbox numbers, applied new mortar in brick mailbox column, and adjusted the mailbox door; and removed an old woodpile and hot tub from and cleaned my concrete deck base. In addition, he replaced burned-out light bulbs where necessary, ran a snake down a slow-running toilet, cleaned switch plates and power socket covers before replacing them, and repaired some bathroom hardware.
