The install was flawless. Matt told us he would come the next Tuesday, and Sunday it was supposed to rain and he did not want to drag mud into our house. Tuesday came and so did the equipment and Matt and when I checked in with my wife at 2:30 she said the upstairs was done and the downstairs equipment had been removed and they would be back to install the downstairs equipment the next day. On the next day, I came home for a bit at around noon, and everything was done and working great. It stays 70 in the house, upstairs and downstairs. After a week, I have noticed that my 7 year old does not wake up froggy in the throat and everyone in the house is breathing better, my wife has not had to take benadryl at night or use eye drops from allergies. The new Tappan heat pumps look great, they are more than twice the size of the old Luxaire. The great thing is: after rebates from the manufacturer, the government, and tax breaks, the high-efficiency systems we had installed only cost about $400 more than the lower 13 Seer. I would call Matt Ware, and I suggest you do the same.


Update* Just a few months after the install, there was a lightening strike just next to our house. Both heat pumps were damaged. I called Matt on a holiday weekend and he helped me trouble shoot everything I can to see if we can get them working. Unfortunately the damage was too severe. Matt set up an appointment the next week, ordered the parts and got us up and running again. He got all the home owners insurance info to us so it did not cost us a dime. If you want someone to be there for you, call Matt. He even recommended an electrician who did some other great work for us after the lightening strike.
