We were referred by a friend.  I wouldn’t recommend them.  Not well.  They wouldn’t honor their 1 year warranty.  They were unprofessional, were currently setting them.  I don’t know what to say.  Everything they planted died and they won’t replace it even though they were supposed to have a warranty.  They were higher than anyone else we got estimate from.

My husband hired Pratts last Spring to do all the landscaping for our new house. We were moderately satisfied at first, even though we felt they were grossly overpriced for the service they provided, did not plant the plants we asked for, and some of what they did plant looked unhealthy, but we were reassured that they had a 1 year warranty and they would make sure we were happy. However the majority of the plants were dead within a month. After much frustration not showing up, rescheduling etc they did replant the items, but they barely put them in the dirt, haphazardly, and with no real concern, many of those died as well, but the owner wanted us to wait to replant until this spring stating it was to hot in the summer for the plants. Here we are, it's Spring, every single plant,Over $12,000 worth are dead, not just recovering from a long winter, but dead dead. Our yard looks horrible, it is an embarrassment. We scheduled them to come out and look at the plants, but once again they either canceled or no showed 4 times. They finally showed up today, 3 hours late, and are not going to honor their 1yr warranty, stating that it was a hard winter and therefore it is an act of God. We will be contacting the BBB and an attorney.

I chose Pratt"s Lawn and Landscape Inc based on having purchased a gift certificate that included $100 toward landscaping plan and $200 toward plantings at a charity auction .  I had heard some good things about them so I was looking forward to our landscape renovation.  The overall plan that was developed was good and they took into account our personal preferences but when the time came, it was poorly executed.  The job was supposed to take 3 days but started later than expected and took 4 days and they had to come back once to "fix" some issues.  They started the job before all plants were received by the company and several of the plants especially the larger and more costly ones arrived in very poor condition but they put them in anyway and the plants have subsequently performed poorly to this date. There was no follow-up from them which I find disappointing based on the size and expense of the job.  Large trees and bushes were not evenly spaced when planted (some bushes had to be moved). Four hydrangea shrubs were very poor quality when planted and did not flower this year and appear at risk of dying.  A large Foster Holly tree of very poor quality was used and has performed very poorly. A holly bush of the wrong species was used in a symmetrical planting that was supposed to match a pre-existing bush.  We did experience a hot dry summer but all beds were watered regularly and all transplanted existing plants have done well while only about 1/2 of the purchased plants have performed well.  The mulch used is virtually gone in all beds, not lasting even 5 months and what's left is faded and unappealing.  Weeds have been a problem in several beds with some of them being transplanted or arrived with the new plantings and the pre-emergent seemed to have little effect.  Phone cables were cut, even though marked and pointed out and they were fixed but left above ground level.  Price would have been fair had the work been done well and the plants had been of good quality. The foreman that I worked with was OK but sometimes took a while to get in touch with.  My overall experience was a disappointment and the quality of work and plantings provided by Pratts were not worth the final expense.

They didn't do what I asked them. They wouldn't treat the lawn the way I wanted. I was told I needed to thatch my lawn before I had it seeded. The owner came out and called me a liar because of this and I told him to get off my property. He's very arrogant.

Was given estimate, details of what service would include, and time frame of recommended work.

Have tried numerous lawn treatment companies and have finally found one that offers individual service and treats my lawn with what it needs. The employees are knowledgeable, courteous, punctual, and professional. The results are, my lawn looks the best it has looked in years.

They do a good job and they give discounts for referrals.
