Stay far far away from this guy Matt Spence co. He knows nothing and I mean nothing about roofing. This came from one of his subcontractors that actually royally messed up a roof install in southgate ky. Matt wants to blame everything for problems except his poor business management and inability to run a legitimate business. He has wasted many hours and a significant amount of money for his endless excuses to cover up a very poor job. I Would never ever ever recommend this company to do anything related to home improvement. Pathetic!!

Our Church in Burlington was due for a new roof on our children's building. We had requested bids from several roofing companies and Spence Roofing came in several thousand dollars under the others. It was a large project and was started at 7am and completed that evening at 8pm. Their team had everything cleaned up and the next morning they removed their equipment and were gone. We couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you Matt Spence

In today's day and age, having someone you can depend on in the roofing business can be a huge weight off your shoulders. When I needed a new roof to my aging house (built in the 70's), Spence Company was there with me every step of the way and the owner of the company, Matt, even delivered me shingle samples all way across town on a spring Tuesday afternoon! Needless to say, Matt and his team are very easy to do business with, and their prices are very competitive. I would recommend them for your next roofing project as they couldn't have made it easier for myself.

This company is what I would describe as best in class. They are extremely responsive, professional, and timely. The work that Spence Company has done within our community has been exceptional. The owner is very engaged and willing to meet one on one with his customers. His crew is careful about their work area and always leave their job site is clean. The crew is also polite and respectful to their customers. Outstanding quality is the result of their desire to provide great service!

He is on angiestist and that is a joke.....nobody should ever use his company!!!!!!

Other than the number of nails in the yard that were not cleaned up, the job was completed on time and they did good work.

Contractor worked on the weekend so as not to interrupt the work day activities. Work was completed in one weekend. The office looks amazing. Very professional and all work was performed as quoted. No surprises. Excellent choice.

The job was completed in a very short time and the gentlemen were very professional. They cleaned up afterward and did not leave anything behind. Very pleased with their performance.

I needed my roof replaced and Matt Spencer (Spence, LLC.) made the process easy. He came over to my house to inspect the roof, met w/ the insurance adjuster and simply made the process easy and simple. I had peace of mind that Matt would get the job done - the right way! I have been very happy with my new roof and I would encourage anyone who needs a new roof to call Matt.

Took longer than expected to get the estimate. (over 2 weeks) We chose a different provider (on Angie's list!!) and he called and asked us why we went with a different provider and got VERY nasty. Was planning on utlizing for part of the work, but after that experience definately will NOT.

They were great and they did a very good job. Other than it taking longer than expected to begin, it went without a hitch. They were very professional and knowledgeable. The crew was very polite and cleaned up their job site very thoroughly. I would recommend them.

They were loud, but they worked hard and had a great time. It was no problem. They were great and funny too. They were here a week after the bid was accepted.
