Kingdom Contracting & Roofing

We were referred to Marty and Shellie of Kingdom Contracting and Roofing as they handle insurance contracts for roofing however once they came out Marty told us it wouldn't be able to go thru insurance and he offered us an amount to fix the leaking roof and water damage on the ceilings. Marty and Shellie had us fill out a contract and even gave a 10 year warranty so we thought they were a reputable company. They came out while we were at work to start on the roof and were finished by the time we got home and then they proceeded to work on the ceilings. The patch work and mudding on the ceilings were horrendous and they promised it just needed to dry and then another coat. They came out a few days later and said the same thing but it still looked awful. At each visit they ran us in loops to keep us destracted and cut us off every time we tried to get more answers. And they wanted to be paid at each visit even though the work wasn't finished. When we wanted Marty to come out and fix the unfinished work he kept giving us the run around saying he forgot and promised to be out another time to which he never showed up 4 times within a week. So I finally got him on the phone and confronted him to which he gave excuses and more running me around and now he won't answer any of our calls. We got another contractor to access the situation and found out Marty never fixed anything on our roof nor replaced the shingles and the ceilings were never finished even though he was paid. I would not recommend this company to anyone!!

Never got a call returned once job was done. They lied to BBB About work performed.

Horrific. After several days of delay a construction dumpster was delivered on a Friday afternoon. On Monday three guys showed up at noon, stripped a small section of our roof, covered our yard and patio with cigarette butts and roofing nails, then left after maybe three hours of work. The contractor then requested more money for supplies. Several days later we contacted the contractor "Marty" Stansel with concerns about impending bad weather. Two guys showed up at the crack of noon, shingled a small section of roof, then nailed blue tarps over the rest. That was three weeks ago. On FIVE different occasions the contractor promised that a crew was on the way, and zero progress has been made on the roof. The contractor called at 7:13 am this morning and said he was on the way and never showed up. Quite simply, this outfit is a fraud. We are currently giving him one chance to make restitution before pursuing legal action. He has not returned our calls, texts, or emails.

The roof started leaking and an inspector described it as 'spongey.' This was a year and a half after it was put on. We had our house for sale, and actually lost the sale because of this. The company will not respond to our calls. We feel that they are not honoring the warranty.

The roof was damaged on 11/24 from a wind storm in the area. Kingdom Contracting and Roofing assisted with the insurance policy and the replacement shingles for the house.

In accordance to Sabbath observance, the company honored the day off and began work on 1/11/2015. All material was delivered on Friday. Work began at 10:00 am on 1/11 and continued until completion and cleanup ending at 5:30. The shingles look very well.
