Hunt Custom Remodeling

Went well. Work was completed on time and on budget. Only 1 minor miscommunication, but we could have been more clear on what we wanted.

it went very well, i was very pleased, i did a lot of shopping and scouting for used materials that they used for the job and they gave me a lot of allowance for those materials, so I came up under their bid. the owner Joe is a very pleasnt man, very easy to work with a pleasure to have around.

Joe was easy to get ahold of and was very responsive to sending someone back to redo or finish when needed.

They were pretty professional and customer friendly. We have a hundred year old house and they are probably better for newer homes; we would use them again if we have a newer home.

Joe and crew were great all the way through the process and we couldn't be happier with the results. Joe himself did most of the demolition and kept in touch with us throughout the entire process. He made sure to personally introduce the men he brought into our home to do the work and each of the crews (of 1-2 guys at at time usually) seemed to know each other well and they all took our input very well and kept us in the loop about what steps they were doing and were very receptive to any minor changes we wanted. I couldn't be happier with the final product! We have a whole new house because of him. We went from a 4 bedroom 1 and a half bath ranch house to a 5 bedroom/ 2 and a half bath two story house! I would have liked a little more input at the beginning of the project and an official blueprint/layout to use as a guide throughout the process (so that we were all on the exact same page), Joe was very easy to talk to and get in touch with (he even gave me his personal cell phone and I often sent texts to him that he answered in the late evening hours. The quality of his work and the work of all his crew was fantastic. The only bad experience I had was when he forgot to write down an amount in his checkbook of one of my payments and requested the amount again from me. That was less than professional, but the matter was easily taken care of and he apologized profusely for the mistake. I would highly recommend Joe Hunt to anybody looking for remodeling work.

Overall, our experience with Joe Hunt Remodeling has been terrific. Joe works with first rate contractors and is very professional, courteous and energetic. He's a good communicator who stays in touch throughout a project, and has a keen sense of the needs and tastes of his clients. Our remodel was done in a matter of a couple of months, as promised. Work performed was good quality, and when a few minor issues cropped up in the aftermath, Joe worked with us to take care of everything quickly and efficiently. Pricing is reasonable for great quality work. About five years ago, Joe Hunt Remodeling remodeled our basement for us as well, and the work was highly satisfactory then too. Highly recommended!!!
