Description of Work: Huff Realty did help us find a house.

Description of Work: I am using Huff Realty to sell my house. I have just signed a contract with them.

Description of Work: Huff listed my home for sale in late 10/08. The house sold mid May, 2009 with closing on 6/30/09. I do not feel that the Huff agent served me well. First of all, it was difficult to get a response when calling her--except at the time a deal was in negotiation. Following an inspection of the property, a report was filed and I began attending to corrections or clarifications of items of concern. I submitted to my agent via e-mail on 6/1/09 a report of items that had been addressed as a means of keeping her updated. I thought that she would convey the information to the buyer/buyer agent. She claimed that she did send the information to the buyer agent, but I do not think that she did communicate this information as a mere 3 hours prior to the closing she called me to tell me the buyer was upset and to ask what had been done about two major items on the inspection report--same issues discussed in the 6/1/09 e-mail!!! She stated that she had not called me earlier in the week as she thought that I was away on vacation. In reality, I had returned from a trip on 6/20/09 (and she was informed of the dates of my travel and return date prior to my leaving the area). To further explain the incompetence of my agent, my agreement with her actually expired prior to the sale of the property (late 4/09). She never asked to extend the agreement. She was lucky that I felt that she should be paid, because I did not challenge the status of our agreement. After the agreement expired and the house sold, I did not feel right about protesting her fee at that point. After what happened the day of the closing, however, and I see clearly now just how poorly I was being served, I realize that I paid way too much.
