PERDUE HEATING & COOLING

The technician came out and confirmed I needed a new thermostat for my heat pump unit. I asked for one that was simple. They installed the "simple" thermostat and he checked the unit for sufficient refrigerant. He told me the pressure was almost text book perfect. I called them a couple weeks later when the weather began to get cold because I noticed my condenser unit icing. He came out and checked the unit again but found no problem. I called them a week later with the same icing problem and left a message for April to call me back. Two hours later I called a company I had used years earlier, Greenwood Refrigeration,. They not only came out but showed up an hour earlier than quoted. They worked on my unit for almost three hours, communicating with their manager at the office trying to make the thermostat work with my until they finally told me the thermostat was not compatible with my unit because it was meant for a different brand. I asked they had a compatible thermostat to install that was compatible with my unit. They did and I've had no more problems since, about three weeks now. I suggest you find and call a company that stands behind their work and doesn't leave you, literally, out in the cold!
