I paid an extra $90 so he could rent a Georgia Buggy to transport the concrete but he decided to use the bobcat instead. This destroyed the yard. We argued over the phone a couple of times because he wouldn't pour the steps as we had agreed on. He argued it was going to take more time and money to do the steps the way I wanted regardless of the contract and that he didn't come out to do a proper estimate. On top of that, the surface finish of the patio was extremely poor. It had waves and dips in it, it also had pits with rock showing. The concrete supplier came out to examine the patio and said the concrete got away from them. It was broomed when it was too dry and he removed the surface coat exposing the rock underneath. It will have to be resurfaced or sealed. I sued and was awarded over $800 which he hasn't paid. Found out he once ran a roofing business and had a few lawsuits there he lost.
