Banking/Credit Unions
Had an account here, they find any reason to charge you extra fees. They charged me $100 fee for something, when I objected, they were very rude, so I checked my account and everything had cleared but one check, I took my money out, leaving the amount in for the check and told them to close the account following that transaction. Instead they charged me a
another fee, then paid the check, then charge me an overdraft fee plus
$7 a day until it was paid, but did not notify me. I called to check
that they had closed my account, and they inform me I owe them more
money. I went to the bank that day and paid their fees, and told them
the close the account. Two months later, I get a statement from them,
so I go back to the bank and find out they never closed the account. I
demanded they close it immediately, and they tell me they are not
authorized to close it, however, she could put a hold on the account so
that no activity would be allowed until the appropriate person (which
was not there that day) could close the account.
I contacted a government agency regarding this fiasco, and eventually I did get back
$50 of the fees I paid them. I would never do business with them again and would recommend
that anyone who values their money to stay away from Bank of Kentucky. Since then I have
heard several senior citizens complain about the treatment they received there also.

I met with a realtor, Holly Isenhour, regarding a foreclosed apartment building that I was ready to put an offer on. She informed me that prior to putting an offer on the property, I would need a "commercial pre approval letter." I later found out this was a lie. I told her that I was waiting on the letter then I would make an offer. Her son, Drew Isenhour, is the man responsible for selling the bank owned homes at the bank of kentucky. Either she did not inform him of our intent to make an offer, or more likely they worked together to push through the first offer that was made while i was trying to get my pre approval letter as she would not have to split commission on that property. I reported the incident to the bank of kentucky and was ignored. I think that Drew and Holly are engaging in unethical business practices and that the bank is ignoring my complaints about the issue.
