It was still under warranty. Actually the bamboo floor was supposed to be under warranty for 30 years, however they're blaming the fault of the contractor. He refused to take any responsibility. he tried to blame it on my refrigerator leaking so the refrigerator man came out,basically pulled out and there wasn't a drop of water behind it. Liquid Lumber sent out somebody called the floor doctor who was excellent. It was two large area and they didn't put in expansion planks or whatever that was recommended which I would have known that. They said because it was such a large area that both sides with the humidity and change of the weather to swell so it crowns up. They pretty much told me that the only way  could get any action out of the contractor would be to sue them. I talked to an attorney and for a couple of thousand dollars which is what I'm out of pocket for money wise. The aggravation and not having the use of my lower level to entertain for two summers in a row is really irritating. It's funny that right after I wrote the review at Angie's List is when he finally called me and came out to look at it but then he whistled out of it and he would not respond to Liquid Lumber's phone calls. He just basically refuse to take any responsibility for the shotty job. They told me I would have to get an attorney and sue him. I have a log of all the trouble I had with them, not showing up when they said they would, just staying a couple of hours here and there and I wasn't happy with them at all.
