The experience was great.  They took care of all the appliances.  They checked every item that was moved and made sure that it is complete and in condition.  They were very thorough for a moving company.  The price was extremely fair.

We were extremely pleased with the result. It was not cheap, because we were moving them all the way from the bottom of the state to the top of the state. The company already had an excellent reputation. I paid for part of it, but the church paid for the services. I was the person who engaged their services, and signed the contract on behalf of the church. I was there when they came and unloaded the furniture and everything. We had to pay extra for the use of some small truck services. The actual move itself with the semi was about $4000, but we ended up having to pay an extra $800, so it was $5300-$5400. That included packing the furniture down there and unpacking it up here. Because the street down in Williamsburg, Kentucky, which is not far from Cumberland Falls in Lake Cumberland down there was too small to get the semi down, they had to use the small truck. Then when they moved them into the house up here, the idea had been to use the church parking lot. They came across the yard and it had been raining for three days at that point, so they had to use a small truck. But it was still the best bank for our buck that we got, even with that extra $1000. It was still much less than what was charged by another company locally. They brought all the furniture in and put it exactly where the new pastor's wife told them to put it. This particular company for our purposes has a long history of moving pastors, and they have a local reputation for that. They actually block out 2-3 weeks in June because they know lots of churches in this area will calling them to move pastors. I wasn't disappointed. We could have had better weather, it would have been nice if they had been able to get the semi down the old street. But there was no way of knowing that until they got there. We would use them again in the future.
