Ok. They really didn't want to do the work but finally were willing after more talking with them. They charge upfront a $99 fee for whatever needs to be done even before seeing the computer. They did work hard to help me with what I needed, after understanding fully what was needed.

I thought I had a bug in the computer that was preventing legible prints (looked like insufficient ink but ink levels were ok) but Alex, the technician, immediately diagnosed it as a problem with the printer itself. After cleaning the printer head and rollers several times he got it to print a legible but poor quality copy indicating a misaligned  print head. At that point I told him I was going to junk the machine. Since I am  89 years old and handicapped Alex offered to go get a new printer and install it. I then went on line and selected a printer that a near by Staples had in stock. He got and installed it and now I am back in business so to speak.

From start to finish Alex spent 4 1/2 hours of his time. His fee was $150$266. for his time and $106 for the printer with no mark-up for a total of $256. I thought that was inadequate  so I paid him $300.

My five year old HP desktop computer was making intermittent metal on metal scraping sounds. I was concerned that the hard drive might be going bad. I also wanted to have my computer scanned for viruses and malware. The technician discovered that the source of the scraping sound was related to the video card fan. They offered me the low cost option first which I really appreciated. He reseated the fan and gave me the option of returning the computer to the shop within three weeks if the sound persisted. He offered to apply the $30 diagnostic fee I paid today toward the purchase of a new video card if necessary.
Roughly a year ago I was having significant issues with the same computer. An HP tech spent two hours trying to find the source of the problem with the computer with no results. I decided to try Laptops and More before I gave up on the computer. They quickly found the problem and had reasonable prices. Any issues that have arisen with my aging computer have been quickly and expertly addressed for a reasonable price. I also recommended them to my parents and they were very happy with the work they did. The people we've met there are are professional yet don't make me feel like an idiot for not being able to assess some of these problems myself. I feel like they're honest and trustworthy. I recommend them to anyone in need of help with their computer.

I am not entirely sure about the date or the cost, so take those with a grain of salt. The price seemed reasonable, and they were able to get to it right away; however, the repair took longer than they said, and I had to call to check on it rather than them contacting me. The bigger negative, and I nearly gave them a worse rating for it: Somehow during the repair process my DVD drive was disconnected and not reconnected. I noticed that it wasn't working, so my husband opened up the machine and found that the drive was not connected. He was able to fix it, but it was rather annoying.
They did a good job, though, on replacing the power supply, and as I mentioned previously, the price was reasonable and they were nice enough.

The service was excellent. Workers were friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. They did great work. The turn-around time was quick.

They gave us a quote for the charge for the diagnostic, called before installing additional RAM to speed up processing, and had the computer back to us within a two days.

They did just what I asked them to do. It took about two days for them to do the repairs and servicing. I dropped it off and told them what I wanted. They called me before they would do any extra work. I got the price that I had been quoted and it worked well.

We found this company about a year and a half ago. We had a problem with a computer and other companies were telling us that it was going to cost quite a bit to fix it. We just came across this place in the phone book and we called them. They said they thought they could fix it at a very good price, which they did. We have used this company several times and we are very, very happy with the place. They sell refurbished computers there. We are going in this week to purchase a movable webcam to put our computer.
