I saw the reviews for Basement Solutions on Angie's List and called Barry. He returned my call within a day and came out to see what needed to be done and to give us an estimate for the job. Barry explained that he would block the crack from both the inside and outside of the wall then inject epoxy which would fill the crack and seal the wall. He made an appointment to do the work, arrived promptly, and worked steadily for three hours repairing the crack. We are very happy with his work and highly recommend that anyone needing concrete foundation repair work contact him.

Immediate call back and proposal appointment with quick estimate. Reasonable price with updated solution to my problem. Workmanship excellent, every work day left my basement picked up and clean. Owner kept me informed of progress each day and I trusted them to the point that they entered and left my home seven days while I was at work with not a moment of concern on my part.. Would recommend this company to anyone with a basement issue. Very knowledgeable with up-to-date solutions and a reasonable price.

He arrived on the scheduled date and time, gave me an estimate which I accepted and said he came prepared to perform the job immediately, which he did.

We contacted Barry to give us an estimate for a vertical foundation crack that traveled below ground level. Inside work in basement bathroom included the removal of drywall and wood framing as needed to expose crack, cleaned area around wall crack meticulously. Installed injection ports/tubes using epoxy surface seal and/or hydraulic cement . On exterior side of wall, thoroughly cleaned concrete surface around wall crack and applied fast set mortar repair over crack. On inside, injected polyurethane in wall crack. Barry's price included exterior caulking and tuck pointing. He re-tucked point mortar joints in brick above foundation wall crack. Other companies' estimates didn't include caulking and tuck pointing. And several estimates included cutting out dry wall and framing as a separate charge. But Barry didn't. Overall, we were very pleased with the work done by Basement Solutions and highly recommend this company. Barry exhibited professionalism and yet was down to earth (not a know it all). He was a good listener and took time to answer our questions. Barry was very punctual on visits and returned my calls and texts promptly during the several months of evaluating the situation. He was the only company that asked to look at both engineering reports and his feedback was insightful and helpful. However, he was not high pressured but the opposite. Being analytical, I liked Barry's proposal. It was detailed and laid out step by step. Other's proposals were brief, seemed hurried and left room for interpretation. Last but not least was the work done. The repair looks good and despite heavy rain fall, there's been no sign of water or mud.

After receiving two estimates that were quite different, I contacted an independent structural engineer.  He verified that Basement Solution's estimate would indeed repair the problem and provide the necessary solution.  Barry (owner) was a pleasure to work with - very conscientious, very thorough.  He did an excellent job, and I feel extremely good about the work that was done.  These men left the house as they found it, in fact cleaner - never left a "mess" when leaving for the day.  He called every morning to let me know when they would be there, and arrived as promised.  Provided insight to the repair, and was extremely helpful and gracious.  I would recommend these men to anyone and everyone who needs foundation work done.

He responded to my call the day I called and was able to stop by on his way home the same day to take a quick look. He was able to rearrange some ongoing work (with the permission of the other party, their work was not leak-oriented so they could be flexible) and he got started the following day. His original estimate was $450, however there ended up being several foundation cracks that needed to be repaired resulting in additional cost, which he explained and I thought was very fair. He was very up front through the entire process, showed me what he was doing at every step, and worked very quickly and unobtrusively. He also identified an issue with our gutter that was likely contributing to the problem and fixed that as well. He was punctual and reliable. I would definitely use him again.

Excellent. Very Happy with the service. Right from the day Barry (I think he is the owner) visited to give a quote, until he finished the job, I was completely staisfied. The price was to remove the wood panelling and put it back. The same job was quoted previously for 600$.

We were one day before closing on our new home when it was discovered that there were significant leaks at multiple locations at the base of the foundation walls.  Barry was called out to inspect and give an estimate, and called me (the buyer) with the options he provided to the seller.  One was to install a single sump well and pump, and the other was to install 2 wells with pumps and to install drain tile around the entire perimeter of the basement.  After discussing the future plans for the home, it was decided that we would want the latter option if we were going to buy the home.  The seller agreed to the repair, and Barry went to work with his crew.  Due to record rainfall we were having, they took the better part of a week (trying to pump out water from the wells as it came in from the rain outside).  However, during the entire process, the basement was kept extremely clean considering the amount of jackhammering and the amount of concrete and dirt that was being removed.  The final product when installed works flawlessly, with the sump pumps firing up whenever the ground gets too wet outside.  There isn't a single drop of water in the basement now, and the layout is very professional and clean, allowing us to finish our basement area into further living space. I would recommend Barry Foreman and his crew to anyone who needs basement waterproofing work, and wants someone who does professional work at a reasonable rate.

They did a good job. They were really good to work with. They did find some things that we were not aware of, that we were able to take care of at that time as well. We found them really easy to work with and they were very responsive.

Mr. Forman came over on a Saturday, the day after I called, to assess the situation (water seeping onto basement floor), suggest solutions, and give an estimate. He was the most knowledgeable and professional of the various people/companies I've talked to about this problem, and his solution seemed the most sensible and least invasive, since I wanted to avoid tearing out the wall or approaching the foundation from outside. He, with another worker, arrived on time and completed the project quickly and efficiently, with no snags or surprises. The basement was left in good order, with nothing for me to clean up. Mr. Foman was friendly and honest, someone who really seemed to know what he was talking about and I appreciated that he did the work himself. Altogether a great experience. Highly recommended!

The water was deeper than they thought, and they put in a lot more work than expected, yet Berry kept to his pre-work estimate. They did a great job. They cleaned up each night, they were very friendly, and they worked extremely hard. I was extremely impressed.

Mr. Forman responded to my original call - same day. He came to look at the situation, within 2 days he sent a very detailed estimate of the project, plan and costs 3 days later, and the work started within 2 weeks. There was a crew of 5, including Mr. Forman. They had to change their original plan of tearing up all the floor as the original concrete proved to be very thick. Otherwise, the work was performed fairly close to what was explained on estimate. The project took 2 full days. They guys were very respective of my property, putting tarps and cardboard down in areas where gravel supply was stocked and pathways. There is a 20 yr. warranty of this work.

Barry arrived on time for his bid and for repair. Work was completed in an estimated time and the basement was left more clean than when they had arrived. I was very impressed. I highly recommend them to others.

Prompt response. Arrived on time. Worked consistently on the problem, and hopefully, the problem has been solved. Gave a good 10 year warranty. The workers were friendly and explained what they were doing in layman's language so I could understand.

Outstanding experience- fair price, excellent communicator, good product. The basement was actuality cleaner after the work than before!
