A New Rooftime
About us
FREE Written Estimates! No Money Down Contractor! Celebrating 16 years in business! A New Rooftime began in 1996, when Ricky and Sandy Feltner started a small family business that they operated out of their home. By 1999, Ricky's company (Preferred Roofing), had grown large enough to include his son, daughter, son-in-law, along with some terrific work crews. Together the company earned a ranking in R.S.I. magazine's Top 100 Contractors in America (Oct 1998) Ricky passed away at the end of 1999, and the company struggled to carry on without his dynamic leadership. Today Ricky's legacy has been preserved by no less than five roofing contractors that were once part of his vision, all successfully operating their own companies using the same principles and ideals he established over 15 years ago! At Rooftime, Sandy's daughter Missy still answers the phone (even at nights and on the weekends) and Ricky's grandson Justin is now an Owens Corning certified Roofing and Insulation Inspector! A New Rooftime is a true family owned and operated business with deep community roots; over fifteen year's business experience, and is now into their third generation of serving Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. A New Rooftime has been certified by Owens Corning as a "TOP OF THE HOUSE" professional. The company attends annual training certifications to keep current with VENTILATION, INSULATION, RADIATION and how they affect roofing shingles and property values. A New Rooftime exclusively sells and installs the Owens Corning line of roofing and insulation products. In addition to being experts at roof repairs, new roof installations and attic insulation, their other services include professional SKYLIGHT repair and installation using the VELUX brand, as well as chimney repairs and Box gutter repairs. Estimates are free and include an attic inspection & color digital pictures of what the estimators find. A New Rooftime utilizes all the best of today's technology such as thermal imaging cameras to pinpoint hidden leaks and decay, and satellite measurement software to offer 'to the inch measurements" for "to the penny pricing'. Visit www.time2roof.com or call Miss Mona at 513.753.TIME (8463) to get a free inspection of your roof, attic insulation, skylight, and chimney or gutter system.

The company denied they caused the gutter to slope and after months of going back and forth with no resolution, I had 3 contractors out to look at fixing it as my basement was at risk to flood (and it's finished). 2 contractors refused siting it was knocked loose during my roof replacement, it happens all the time and the roofers should fix it. The 3rd contractor fixed it but told us the gutter was not cleaned out. It should have been as the contract with A New Rooftime said they would clean all the gutters before they left the job because of the debris that falls in them.
This weekend, I noticed water dumping in another spot in the back. In cleaning the gutter, it was full, literally full of roofing shingles, nails, etc. from the job. Because they didn't clean it out properly as the contract dictated, water stood at the corner and has completed eroded the corner of the shingle. We also have shingles lifting around the fireplace (and they shouldn't be). I have no idea if the second story gutters were clean and if they put our gutter guards on or pitched them too. I have no idea if the roof was done right given all the issues we have. I have left several phone and written messages for them over the last 5-days. The company will not respond to my phone calls.
"This business was forced to shut down after the sudden and unexpected passing of it's principal partner. The last day f operation was in March 2016. Every proper step was followed including notifying the BBB and Angies List about the closure. The contract for this roof states a 2 year labor warranty, the roof was installed 2012. Also the contract clearly states that bad wood was extra, over and above roof quote, as needed. This is standard boilerplate contract language. In 2012, there was no worry over the wood condition and in fact the roof performed for years after with no issues. Damage in 2016 can be traced back to a huge variety of factors, none of which would relate to the contractor. The owner is deceased and the business is closed."

I live in a 2 story home - no other way to describe it.
Dale came to clean the gutters (after being a no-show on the first date), I told him I may be busy when he finsihed, but my wife would be available.
He did the front of the house (and did a nice job on that part) - but he never finished the back of the house!
Didn't say a word to my wife or me when he left - just left the job unfinished.
He put pics on Angie's List site - and said he should have put an additional $150 charge for my 3 story house and the pitch.
When I called him - he gave every excuse possible - it's Angie's List job, not mine - they set the details, you had a lot of roofing debris on your roof (true, but so what).
Bottom line - they did a half-a** job and an incomplete job.
No way I'd have these guys on my property again.
"Ty for your feedback, we spoke with this tech and of course he has a different version, but we do try to learn from EVERY response left for us, and I thank you for the job. I am sorry you were not satisfied, but have to stand behind the employee and his before and after photos and his version of the extra charges the job would have taken."
"Thanks for taking time to leave us your feedback!"
"Thanks for taking time to leave us your feedback! We will review this with our techs and learn how we can be better, thank you for the work you let us perform!"
