Sims-Lohman Fine Kitchens & Granite

The counters for baths and lower level all came out fine and we are still quite happy but the tops for the main kitchen were absolute terrible. We bought a ‘higher grade’ for the main kitchen but after installation cracks started running throughout the tops and chips started popping off everywhere around the edges. The seams were also very rough, so much so you could actually snag a sleeve on the seams. We complained multiple times only to be told the higher grade granite has many fishers and can seem to have cracks but they are superficial. Sims-Lohan did try to dress the seams but they never were smooth. We finally decided to replace everything in the kitchen and when we did the ‘high end tops from Sims-Lohman fell to pieces. They were terrible and the so called superficial cracks actually were cracked completely through. So, terrible granite, terrible installation l, basically no service and a very unhappy customer. And they still got paid.
