1. Repair on fuse block completed satisfactorily 2. The turn signal switch needs to be replaced. Turn signal and brake light repair attempted repair by installing a diode. it didn't even work when I got home. 3. The wiper motor was defective and satisfactorily replaced 4. Courtesy lights under dash were repaired to work on door switch. lights in rear seat were not connected to the circuit. 5. the circuit to the convertible top motor was supposedly checked and functioning - I don't know there has not been a new motor installed.
I voiced my displeasure at the high cost upon picking up the car and was told by the technician "I done my work". After I discovered that the turn signal/brake light repair did not work I called to try to get an adjustment on the bill and I told the technician that I had ordered a turn signal switch. Instead of offering to install it at no charge he said he would only charge me a half an hour labor.
So it boils down to this. $464 dollars of labor were charged to:
1. remove and bead blast the fuse block and reinstall the fuse block.
2. install diode in the turn signal circuit that did not repair the problem. The turn signal/brake light circuit blew fuses several times.
I installed a new turn signal switch, a new socket in the right front signal and found some places where the insulation was worn through under the driver's foot area. No problems since.
3. Diagnosed and replaced the wiper motor satisfactorily.
4. Courtesy lights under the dash work on door switch - switches cleaned and lubed. I forgot to mention that the courtesy lights in the back did not work and the technician did not mention it either even though it is part of that circuit.
5. Test convertible top motor circuit
I was really disappointed in the quality of the work and the high price. if everything had been done satisfactorily I would have been a lot happier with the whole situation. Instead I spent several hours on the repair. I haven't addressed the courtesy lights in the back yet.
