I had Vision renovate an old bathroom in my 100+ year old house. Vic was very responsive after making contact, came out to bid the job, and gave me a quote all within a few days. The quote was reasonable and he answered any questions or concerns we had quickly. After accepting his quote they got started 2-3 days later. Old houses often have surprises when renovating as people have added on or renovated in "unique" ways in the past, as well as the use of older materials and techniques that don't go well with modern construction. My house was no different but they were able to work around these inevitable problems and complete the bathroom with little to no issues. All in all, the work was done relatively quickly and the bathroom looks great. They even went above and beyond to get the little details right that make the bathroom fit in with the rest of a historic house.

Went extremely well. Some rain delays, but once under roof the work proceeded quite quickly. All members of the crew working on the project were friendly and very knowledge and skilled. I would highly recommend Vision to anyone wanting a job done correctly the first time. I will use Vision in the future for other project.

We had several companies turn us away, saying it was too big of a job. They built our deck for us a few years back. We have been very pleased with their services. They are always on time. They pay close attention to detail and do high quality work.

It was a horrible experience. They gave us the quote. We would tell them what we wanted them to do and when we would come home from work they had done what they wanted to do. They poured what they didn't use of the the plaster mixture into our grass. They left all kinds of dust and stuff behind. They said it would be done in 6 weeks, but it lasted from September until past Christmas. We would have to go out and find prices for things ourselves. I said I wanted recess lighting under our counters and they said I couldn't have it because they don't make them. I went to a lighting store and found them. They would tell me the way I didn't want them installed was the only way to do it. They were contrary to everything we wanted. They didn't put sub flooring in our kitchen, dining room and hall before the tile installation. Now the tile is all cracking and the grout between the tile is coming out so we've had to hire someone else to come in and fix something that was done less than 10 years ago. I said I wanted a specific door from our kitchen to our patio and they said they don't make that door. I called a door store and they had it. They sent me out to get prices for appliances and then give them the numbers of the appliances I wanted. We waited and waited and it turned out they never ordered them. They told us to go out and find the kind of countertops I liked and someone came in to do all of the measuring so they could order them. They ended up ordering the wrong size so when it was time to install he just cut the end off so he could get it in. There is now a half an inch between the wall and the counter. The piece they cut off they just turned sideways and glued it to the wall. The garbage disposal fell right out and the dishwasher was never leveled so the motor and fan burnt out and we had to get another dishwasher. We asked them to remove the carpeted stairs we had and put in wood stairs. They removed the carpeting, sanded them and then painted them, they even painted right over carpeting that was glued on. They were supposed to paint the walls, they put plaster on and in some areas painted right over it without sanding it. In a lot of places they didn't even fill in the holes. Half the time they never showed up for work and the other half of the time they were gone by 2pm to take care of personal business. As of Christmas we still didn't have a sink in our kitchen. They were horrible, seriously very bad. We gave them the price ranges we wanted to stay within and he said no problem, but now so much of the work is falling apart. I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone.

I was told three separate times that local permits cost Vic $250 when they were actually just $50. I was personally criticized by Vic for calling him at 7am one morning to complain about the unsupervised timber delivery which had just that minute occurred outside the front of our home, and contrary to an agreed schedule. Furthermore, when his team arrived to shift the timber, they they insinuated "I" had somehow taken delivery in the wrong location, thus causing them more work. As a result of Vic's entirely unprofessional comments and remarks at the completion of this project, he has inadvertently lost the opportunity of at least 3 more jobs of a similar, and/or much larger, nature in our neighborhood, as we've refused to pass on his company's details when neighbors ask who built our deck. I would certainly not employ this company again, except to service any issues during warranty period.

They were here daily. They were quick to answer any questions we had and they did a great job. We are very satisfied with the work.

They are not quite done yet, but so far it is going well. For the size of the deck I find the price reasonable.

The price was good and Vic was professional. The carpentry work was very good to include the window, door and inside trim work. The rest was a fiasco. The demolition started immediately and we then had to wait over eight weeks while the cabinets were delivered. The demolition and work left a continuous mess that was not cleaned up by the workmen. The appliances were all removed immediately and we had no way to prepare food or clean up dishes. we had to wait another two weeks for the counter tops to be made and then the contractor cut off one end to ''get it in'' and then tried to hide it with a poor trim job. The new lights did not work correctly and I have to continuously repair the plumbing under the sink. They came back to try and fix problems after the job was ''complete'' done but more keep popping up as time goes by.
Response from VISION HOME ENTERPRISES
"IN RESPONSE TO THE MEMBER'S COMMENTS, I MUST FIRST ADMIT THAT THINGS DID NOT GO AS SMOOTHLY AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED. THERE WERE MISTAKES MADE ON OUR PART. THESE MISTAKES WERE MAINLY TIMING ISSUES CONCERNING THE ARRIVAL OF THE CABINETS. ANYONE COULD BE EXPECTED TO BECOME VERY IRRITATED WITH THEIR KITCHEN IN DISARRAY FOR THIS PERIOD OF TIME. I BELIEVE WE HAVE LEARNED OUR LESSON IN THIS AREA. WE WILL NOT BEGIN OUR KITCHEN RE-MODEL UNTIL WE HAVE RECEIVED THE CABINETS. I HAVE ALSO ADDED A CERTIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO DO ALL OF OUR WORK. THIS HAS ELIMINATED THE PROBLEMS WE EXPERIENCED ON THE MEMBER'S JOB. I MUST SAY HOWEVER, THAT PART OF THE REASON THE JOB TOOK AS LONG TO COMPLETE AS IT DID, WAS BECAUSE THE MEMBER'S LEFT FOR KANSAS CITY SHORTLY AFTER WE BEGAN, AND BECAUSE HE WAS THE MAIN CONTACT IN RELATING THEIR NEEDS TO US, COMMUNICATION BROKE DOWN. IT WAS VERY FRUSTRATING TRYING TO GET ANSWERS FROM HIS WIFE, WHO WOULD HAVE TO CALL THE MEMBER, WHO OFTEN COULD NOT BE REACHED. THEREFORE, PERFORMANCE SUFFERED. IN CLOSING, I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT I FELT GOOD RELATIONS WERE MAINTAINED DURING THE PROCESS. I AM THEREFORE SURPRISED AT THE OVERALL RATING THE MEMBER GAVE US. IT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE. HOW DO TWO C'S, ONE B, ONE D AND AN F ADD UP TO AN OVERALL RATING OF AN F? I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT VISION HOME ENTERPRISES STANDS BEHIND THE WORK AND WE WILL GLADLY SERVICE THE MEMBER SHOULD ANY FUTURE PROBLEMS ARISE. SINCERELY, VICTOR COMBS"

VIC WAS VERY NICE. GAVE AN ESTIMATE THE DAY HE SAW THE JOB, COMPARED TO TWO OTHER COMPETITORS WHO TOOK 2 WEEKS TO QUOTE. PRICE WAS LESS THAN HALF OF THE OTHER 2 BIDS (CLASSY CRAFTSMEN AND OUTDOOR DESIGNS). OTHER BIDS INFLATED PRICE DUE TO ALUMINUM BALLUSTERS, BUT VIC JUST ADDED ENOUGH FOR THE HIGHER MATERIAL COST. STARTED JOB WITHIN 10 DAYS OF ACCEPTANCE AND FINISHED IN 3 DAYS. CLEANED UP WELL. WHEN I POINTED OUT 3 THINGS THAT NEEDED FINISHING TOUCHES, COMPLETED THESE IN 5 DAYS.

VIC AND HIS TEAM DID AN EXCELLENT JOB!! VIC CAME OUT TO OUR HOUSE SEVERAL DAYS EARLIER TO POUR THE FOOTERS, AND THEN HAD HIS TEAM COME OUT FRIDAY A.M. AND BUILD THE FRAME OF THE DECK. RETURNED SATURDAY A.M. TO CONSTRUCT REST OF THE DECK. EVERYONE INVOLVED WAS COURTEOUS AND WANTED TO MAKE SURE ALL MY NEEDS WERE TAKEN CARE OF. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED BY ME!!! THEY ALSO DO OTHER HOME IMPROVEMENT JOBS AND WILL PROBABLY COME BACK TO DO THE GUTTERS FOR US WHEN IT IS TIME FOR REPAIR.
