Once he made the estimate it took a couple of weeks for the job to be started. The crew was excellent. They asked what time I wanted them to show up on the second day of the job. I told them that I get up at 7am they showed up at 7:10 am. All were courteous and worked hard. They did a very good job of clean-up before they left. I would not consider another roofer.

Contacted him for new shingles. He talked me into replacing all skylights, adding ridge vent, and rebuilding chimney. Chimney and skylights have been continual source of leaks ever since. He came out twice and did a little caulking, but it didn't stop the leaks. Had him come out again last winter and I thought he agreed to redo the chimney seals, but I never heard from him again. Have called and left messages at least six times in the past three months about the continual leaks, but he never answers my calls. Floor and ceiling have been ruined by the leaks. They also left my yard full of nails, which punctured three of the tires on my tractor.

The start of the day all were and quot;running on all cylindersand quot; wide open and as the day wore on I could detect a bit of weariness setting in with some of the crew. When all was done they had left me with a great job and I am completely satisfied.

John's crew removed the old shingles from our A-frame, replaced several pieces of weakened plywood, added drip-edge, and installed the new shingles. His crew was hard working and cleaned up the area when finished hauling away the old shingles and plywood. We feel that they did a good job at a reasonable price.

The company's estimates are not carefully itemized so it is difficult to negotiate with insurance company without cost of each item and service clearly delineated and indicated in units. Just to meet insurance company's needs, I had to go back for three additional itemizations and the company does not seem to know how to do this. The office goes days and sometimes weeks without responding to phone calls or even written inquiries. Having said this, it's worth noting that this estimate was more professionally-done than two of the four others I received.
As for the roof itself, the material and workmanship are high quality and I am pleased with the results. After the job was finished, we verbally agreed, upon inspection, that there were a few minor cosmetic finishing touches that needed attention, but after paying my bill, I never saw them again and four months later, these have still not been done. This company does very good work, but be sure to withhold payment until even the minor verbally agreed-upon finishing touches are done.

Bryan Bodner came out to quote a new roof for my home, he arrived promptly and acted professionally. He was recommended through people that my wife works with. Bryan's quote seemed reasonable for the work that he was going to perform. A complete tear off and reroof, adding as many roof vents as needed for the size of the roof. I accepted the quote and we scheduled a time for his crew to start. Bryan and his crew arrived on time to begin the process. I told Bryan that if he found any rotten areas of the roof, to replace the plywood and to make any repairs necessary. They used copper flashing around the chimneys and fitted it precisely. Bodner's crew tore off the roof, made repairs, and reroofed it in the course of that single day. They left no mess behind them, and the roof looked great. I would highly recommend John Bodner and Son Roofing to anyone I know in the area. Quality work at a fair price, with outstanding customer service.
