I needed a new system and asked if it would work to have it installed in the attic. He said that would be no problem at all. He installed this system in Sept 2015. He showed up when he said he would. His was the least expensive. He said he would run the duct work around the walls of the attic so it could still be used for storage - that did not happen. My AC unit was out for 8 months after install because he claimed he needed a "high ambient temperature" in order to put oil in a part on the unit for it to work. He installed the drainline improperly which caused water to back up in the system and freeze up the entire furnace. No one was living there at the time. The toilet froze and busted, water pipes froze and busted and he refused to cover any of the repair costs. He unthawed the furnace with my heat gun used for removing paint, he cut the drain line in the kitchen and put a bucket under the cut pipe to catch the water. I had to change the bucket twice a day. I had to pay someone else to repair the drain. A few months later the furnace stopped working. He came out twice over a two week period and said he needed parts in order to fix the problem. The third week I called to see when it would be fixed, he said he was on vacation!! I fired him. When a different company came out to fix it, the problem was that the gas had been turned off. They turned the gas back on and the furnace worked just fine. My AC went out last week. I called a local company to repair it and they found Larry installed an exterior drain trap when there is one already built into the furnace. Now I have to pay to have that removed and also they said since the furnace is in the attic, heat tape with a thermostat needs to be installed so the drain doesn't freeze up. I would not recommend them to anyone. He is a very likable guy, but if I had it to do over, I would not have used his company and I certainly would not recommend him to my worst enemy.
