Todd Goodlett came to the house and gave me an estimate. He charges a flat rate of $450 a truckload and said it would take two trucks to do the job. Day of the move, 3 guys showed up with 2 trucks. One guy did most of the heaviest lifting, another guy moved things out of the house, and the third guy did most of the truck packing. At times, I felt like things were moving too slowly, but there was a lot of stuff to move. They plastic wrapped several things to protect them before loading them into the truck. With some deft loading skills, they managed to get everything into the two trucks except a desk and our two bikes which we ended up taking ourselves. Once at the new house, they unloaded quickly. Only one minor criticism is that all of the basement stuff ended up piled in one room. Not a huge deal, though since it had been a long day at that point (7 hours), The guys were polite, professional, and worked hard until the job was complete. I've already recommended them to a friend.

THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND THEY MADE SURE THAT THEY DID EVERYTHING THAT I WANTED THEM TO DO. THEY CAME HERE ON TIME AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT. I THOUGHT IT WAS A BIT OVER PRICED FOR JUST TAKING IT FIVE MILES.
