Repair was accomplished while we were away from home. Chimney Chaps completed the job, cleaned up leaving not a trace and followed up with a phone call to see if we were happy with their work. Well done!

Chimney Chaps is now correcting the poor job done by another company. They are applying a new waterproof crown coating to the top of the chimney that carries a 15 year guarantee, as opposed to the one year warranty of the previous contractor. The owner even knocked off $120 from the quote when he found that the old repair coating peeled off so easily. What was so surprising is he didn't have to do that; I would never have known the difference. It's certainly a testament as to his character and honesty. This has been phase one of a two part repair process. So far I'm very happy with Chimney Chaps.

Told me neither chimney needed cleaning, explained how to fill some minor cracks and air gaps myself. After 15 minutes, when asked how much the charge would be, said, "No charge." When I insisted, he had me pay his standard minimum, which was $45.
