When I called BEAR Hands LLC the owner, David Maredith answered the phone.  He offered to come that day or the next day
to see what was going on and give me an estimate.  He was on time, he was very professional, and he listened to my concerns
about the repairs needed in my home.  I had water damage inside the drywall, the base board wood was rotting in the living
room  and the water had dripped into the basement storage room below.  A roofer told me this happened because my gutters
were too small for the pitch of my roof and one row of shingles was not installed properly.  I had the roof and gutter work done
and now needed to repair the inside of my house.
David asked if he could remove the base board and pull the corner of the carpet back to see what was going on.  He gave me an estimate and scheduled the work that week.  He came on time. He found the water damage and also active termites.  I called
our pest control and David worked with them, showing them the evidence he had found.  David removed baseboard, part of the
sub floor, crown molding, drywall, insulation, damaged studs, and damaged OSB board.  He also had to remove and replace an electrical outlet  He cleaned up before he left sweeping and vacuuming. He returned when the pest control treated and waited
for it to dry before he began work building a new wall.  When Dave arrived I was shoveling snow from my driveway he got out and helped me shovel before he went into my house to work.
He has repaired all the water and termite damage our living room looks like new again!  This is the second time I have used BEAR Hands LLC.  The first time David repaired nail pops in my ceilings, attached a dryer vent to the bricks outside and repaired doors that didn't close properly.  Two years later there is no evidence of the nail pops. He matched the ceiling paint perfectly.  I recommend BEAR Hands LLC to anyone needing repair work in their home.
