TANNER CUSTOM HOMES

I am of the opinion Ryan Bryzgot and Tanner Custom Homes is quite possibly the worst builder in the Greater Cincinnati area. I would not contract them to build a dog house. Unorganized, unprofessional, and deceitful are the best ways to describe this company. Before we moved into a new home built by Tanner, we had to spend thousands of dollars to have the plumbing and gas lines replaced. We were charged for a new fireplace by Ryan Bryzgot, a common thief, who installed a non-working discontinued model. The exterior brick of our new home has two different colors of mortar. There are numerous cracks throughout our driveway. The patio looks awful. Tanner screwed up the size of the patio and instead of tearing it out and replacing it, they decided to add two more sections. It was then stained. They must have ran out of the dye and now it is multi-colored. Our landscaping consisted of five dead trees and a bush. You can forget about the attention to detail with this builder. Every single exterior door has dents from the various subcontractors. We have drywall seams visible in almost every room. 90% of our closet and bedroom doors do not shut properly. Our house keys only work on a few of the exterior doors. We had multiple broken windows. Most of the window hardware was not installed. The window screens are bent, broken, or missing. There is a leak in our roof which has destroyed a large section of drywall in our kitchen. We paid for speakers to be installed, but most of them they didn't even have wires ran to them. Holes, nicks, and cuts are prevalent in the trim work and drywall. I am absolutely amazed of the poor craftmanship of the house. But ABOVE all, the best part of our nightmare situation is that Ryan Bryzgot did not pay any of the subcontractors we spoke with after we fired him. Everyone we were able to talk to during and after he was fired told us they were owed money. Pure and simple, this is stealing! Ryan Bryzgot will promise a great home, but he will hire the cheapest and worst subcontractors possible so he can make an obscene profit margin. Tanner custom homes as a company, in our opinion, consists of professional con-artists who will lie to you day in and day out. This has been the worst experience we could have ever imagined. Stay away from Ryan Bryzgot, you could build a better home than he can.
