Flooring
The installer that they sent came after work on his day job. Our job was to lay just 87 sq. ft.of hardwood flooring and after 3 nights of work, he was not finished and there were many obvious flaws in the floor, the handrail was still sitting in the bathroom and it became obvious that he didn't know how to finish. The boards leading into the stair nose did not meet so he filled in by large quantities of putty. The stair nose itself was tilted and cracked. (This caused another lengthy delay waiting for the special order stair nose. ) On the side walls there were big holes left unfinished. He managed to break tiles in the adjoining bath as well as the marble threshold. After complaining, Install's 4U sent someone who "has been installing floors for 25 years." He was going to be able to make everything right.
This installer made attempts to fix the floor, but still could not get it right. He installed the banister, but it was crooked and the wood splintered. The balusters were also on an angle . The gaps between the floor and stairway wall were still there!
On May 24, a full 2 months after signing the contract with Lowes, all we had was a unsightly hallway done by amateurs.
Thus began another month long, stress filled month of phone calls and visits to Lowes to get my project finished. Although it was tedious dealing with Lowes we were appreciative that they sent another company to fix the floor . Keller Flooring finished the job on June 21, 2012 and we arae very pleased with their work.

Flooring
Excellent, the entire wood floor went in beautifully, they always do excellent work! There was some damage to the new flooring by the manufacturer but the installers brought it to my attention right away and notified the store immediately; They set aside all the damaged pieces and installed the rest of the flooring and used the undamaged sections of the damaged pieces to do smaller areas and we didn't even need to order anymore flooring! The installers were very nice and professional, they cleaned up after them selves and even did the board cutting outside so i didn't have to clean up andy saw dust. Installs 4u are outstanding installers!

The price show does not include the flooring cost.
The crew sent to install our bamboo flooring were ill equipped both with tools and experience to installed laminate flooring.
They sawed the boards with a blade so dull that it burnt the wood instead of cutting. The smoke as so thick as to be choking. Good thing I had an area that allowed them to work outside the home.
The saw blade ran red hot and I have concerns about the integrity of the laminate. The flooring was installed so the the board ends were aligned. They should have a random pattern. The molding was blunt cut instead of mitered. Many pieces were split when nailed. They lacked a simple table saw to cut pieces lengthwise. They instead used a handheld saber saw. This resulted in jagged cuts that they depended upon the molding to hid.
Carpet to laminate transition was poorly done. The carpet at several room doorways is lumpy or sunken.
Complaints to Lowes have resulted in them hiring another installer to tear out the flooring and re-install.
