He tried to clean it with a floor brush not an upholstery brush and I've got hardwood floors. He got water everywhere which isn't good for hardwood floors. They were quick to respond. The professionalism wasn't very good.

It's been about a year since they came out for the service. I would tell other that they are fair. They were fairly professional. It's a company type thing it's more than just a small group.

They do an excellent job. They are very professional. They had to come back twice. The first time the equipment wasn't working, and when they did the job, it took them about an hour and a half. Two techs came out.

"We offer a free in home estimate service to all customers. Still, if they want cleaning done immediately, an estimate is still provided prior to cleaning for their ok to proceed. In this case, the cleaning included 4 rooms, optional protectant and a 60 day spot-free guarantee at the customer's choosing. With this, the customer has a 60 day warranty that we will return and take care of spills or pet accidents etc at no charge to the customer. We are happy to fit any budget and even customize the cleaning based on customer requests."

They are very professional, They arrived on time and explained what they would be doing. I have 4 dogs, so my carpet can get pretty dirty. I normally use Coit twice a year. I have also had them clean an oriental rug and they did a great job on that as well. I think they can tend to be a little pricey, but a couple times a year they offer a good promotion of 40% off.

I used their services over the course of about five or six years. I had carpets cleaned every 6 months. hey were always on time, professional. For the most part, they always covered their shoes, which I really liked. Their costs seemed fair for the work. They were fine and did a good job. The only reason we no longer use their services is because we no longer have carpeting and have replaced them with hardwood flooring.

Sales person #798 failed to leave a receipt of charges - I paid by credit card - I called his cell phone, left a message why I was calling and asked him to return my call - never did!

Beautiful job. Have used them before for cleaning draperies (heavy lined draperies in the living room) cleaned and re-hung. Also used them in the past to clean upholstery and they did a good job with the sofa as well. My experiences are that employees are pleasant and skilled.

Cleaned wall to wall carpeting, 2 area rugs, drapes and valences in 4 rooms. They were prompt, courteous and efficient. They managed to get out some nasty spots in the rugs. I am very pleased

I would give Coit Services F's. They did a rotten, lousy job. They wouldn't move anything. They cleaned around everything. I don't even think they vacuumed before they shampooed the carpet. We had a loose, big, 5' x 7' rug, down in the t.v. room, on the hardwood floor. They were supposed to take that and clean it. It came back smelling like it had been doused in pee. It was awful. We had to put it out. We couldn't even bring it in the house. We had to put it out for the garbage. When they took it, they told us they were not sure they could get it completely clean. But I thought it would be at least 50% better when they took it. But it was 100% worse. We couldn't even have that rug in the house, it smelled so bad. I don't know what the hell they did with it. I'll never call them again. They charged an outrageous amount, $300.00, just to do the living room, dining room, upstairs hallway and the little steps that go from the upstairs in our quad level house to the main floor and then down to the t.v. room. The carpet looks worse now. All the places that were dirty and had spots and everything, they're all back twice as bad. Then they said, "While we're here, you need to have your couches done and all that kind of stuff. They didn't do anything and he didn't even know how to get the spots out of a couch. I don't told him that he needed to get some Oxyclean and a brush. He had that you spot clean first with Oxyclean. Any housewife knows that. I don't know who or why they sent me. He was very nice and very professional and all that kind of stuff. But he did a lousy, rotten job. I'll never have them again. They were way overpriced. I didn't call him up to complain or anything, because I didn't want them to come back here. I suppose people would say, "Why didn't you call him up and complaint." I don't do it. They should do it right the first time, otherwise, they'll never hear from me again, ever. I don't think he had any experience. He was supposed to be a professional. He doesn't even have the experience that I do, as an old lady. Maybe he was hard up for a job and he took that job, said he could do it and sent him out to do. I don't know. I don't think he had the proper training to do what he was supposed to do. The couches still don't look clean. It still looks really dingy looking. They don't look any cleaner than before he started on it.

We have tried on two different occausions to contact her by phone and did not get a return call. We also sent her a letter asking her to call us so we could take care of the problem. If there is a problem with any of our cleaning we are more than happy to correct it for any customer; but we have to know about the problem."

We were very pleased. We would use them again, but nobody lives in the basement right now after my son moved out, so the carpets don’t get too dirty.

Our original appt. was on 8/22/12....The tech did not show during the scheduled appointment time so we called and apparently their system canceled our appointment which they remedied very quickly by sending someone within 30 minutes which was very appreciated. However the tech spent literally 15 minutes inside our house...3 bedrooms, living room, steps and hallway....15 minutes. It takes me longer than 15 minutes to vacuum those areas; it surely should have taken longer to professionally clean them. Very, very disappointed with the results. The carpet didn't look, smell, or feel any different after it dried.
After making the above Angie's list post and rating our experience a 'D' COIT called to make it right which was very appreciated! They sent someone out less than a week after they made initial contact and recleaned our carpets...this time spending nearly 2 hours. The carpet looks great! Much happier this time around! The technician expressed his regret and apologies for our first experience and said that COIT is a 100% satisfaction guaranteed company and that if we are ever unsatisfied again to call and they would come reclean. That is a great company policy! However, I will likely not use COIT again because the job should have been done right the first time.

Rep showed up and introduced himself, and explained what he was going to do and how. We toured the house to confirm that I had counted the number of air returns and vents properly..which I did, so he wrote up the official quote which matched the quote I was given on the phone. 19 total registers an vents...normally $40 per opening, discounted to $20 per opening.....plus $20 fee for coming out...for a total of $400. It took about two hours. He showed me what came out of the system after he was done. Overall it was a good experience, and the air system is much quieter now, no funny smells, works great. I would recommend them to friends and family.

We have lived here for several years, but strongly suspected that duct cleaning had not been performed on the house in many, many years, if ever. We were not sure who to hire to perform this service. Based on family recommendations and Angie's List reviews, we chose Coit to provide the much needed air duct cleaning in our home.
We were able to schedule an appointment the same week we called. We were able to select a two-hour window for the arrival time of the cleaning team. The team arrived on time. The two-man team was professional in attitude and appearance. From their assessment (and our strong suspicions), the 50+ year-old duct work had not previously been cleaned. They immediately began prepping duct work for the clean out. They were methodical and meticulous as they worked their way through our house, from room to room, and from floor to floor. Anything that was taken apart or moved was replaced as they finished that area. They were very careful and respectful of our furnishings.
Start to finish the technicians were here about 90 minutes. They worked in a timely, but not rushed, fashion. It was evident that these two gentlemen work together as a team. They showed us the dirt cleaned out of the system (no wonder we were having to dust our house so much!). They instructed us on what we needed to do with the furnace air filters to maximize the benefits of having newly cleaned duct work.
Since having this service performed, we have noticed a marked improvement in the outflow of heated air from our gas forced-air furnace!
We will definitely use Coit, again, for air duct cleaning.

Runner had strong cat urine odor. Talked about this to phone receptionist, estimator, and pickup man, felt assured of successful removal. Only after my complaint that runner still stunk, did manager tell me "we never guarantee pet odor removal, and every one of our employees knows that." Too bad they didn't mention it. Manager did refund cost of doing the runner, but I wouldn't have had the room rug cleaned had the info been given to me in advance.
