It was okay. He (the owner) arrived with his daughter and I believe she performed part of the work, although I did not watch.
It took them approximately 30-40 minutes to complete all of the work.
He charged me $150 for the work. I feel that was a little high.
He had me make the check out to him individually and not to his company. That bothered me.

Affordable Plumbing did a wonderful job and we would use them again. I also had a very good experience with them.

Ray did a terrific job. He not only did each of the jobs I asked him to but told me that he could fix a pump on my furnace that I was complaining about (I thought I needed an HVAC person to do that). He'll order the pump and replace it when it comes in. As for the rest of the work: Ray fixed each problem, always explaining to me what he was doing and why. The ice maker tubing was originally plastic and had split, soaking my wood floor. Ray replaced it with copper so that it would last. He figured out that my outside leaky faucet was an easy fixed (a loose nut) and showed me how to fix it myself in case it came loose again. He replaced some parts in the commode. When Ray replaced the corroded basement utility sink pipe, he replaced all the old lead piping, including the trap. It looks great and now the washer water is going down the drain, not on my floor! Ray was able to come and do the work a couple of days after I called him and was on time. I will definitely recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

Hooked up to an existing drain in a few minutes. The existing drain path could not be cleared due to a collapse of the line somewhere within the cement foundation using multiple methods to clear or find the blockage, Ray created a new path and installed hot water line where none existed. When it became apparent that piping associated with the hot water in the church was cross connected some where Ray installed a shut off valve in a line to rememdy the problem. This is the 5th or 6th time I have used Ray Wilder at both my house and in this case our church including installing hot water heaters, rebuilding a shower, replacing a frozen main gate shut off valve and correcting a mahor leak flooding a basement. He has always finshed the job promptly and professionally for the amount quoted which has always been less than other quotes I have gotten. He makes the non-routine... routine everytime.

It was excellent. I called Ray and asked if he would install a replacement gas water heater and he offered to do it the next day. I was busy so we agreed to 8 AM the following day and he arrived promptly at 8 and completed the job in less than 2 hours. Everything was done quickly and neatly including overcomng a manufacturing defect in the water heater. This is the 3rd time I have used Affordable plubing. Previous jobs involved leaking plumbing in a very old house. In every case the work has been complete and very reasonable.
