Missed the bid on material by 25% (bid was too low) did not keep track of how much material (lumber) was being purchased compared to what he bid--He did not finish the project--lots of items remain to be done--mostly small items such as door knobs installed and locks. Most of the conflict was over silly things like he wanted to charge extra for steps in a two story structure and the fact that he wanted paid every couple of days which was not what was agreed upon. Also I felt he dragged the project out much longer than necessary which prevented him from moving on to another project and making more money--Also the building is not square--on the positive side the building is very a sound structure. Overall not a pleasant experience.
