Wright Way Concrete

Very nice Guy, but scheduling leaves a lot to be desired. Tried to do everything with a skeedsteer, should have used a trencher to dig footings Slab is below street level, I will have to hire someone construct a small curb to keep water out of Grage. I talked to him and suggested that he have a small curb across the front but he said that it would interfere with garage Door. I also offered to have some Gravel or fill dirt at my expense, so he could raise the slab to street level. but then he said that I would have to pay to rent the skeedsteer again. He does not have any real equipment. so any mis planning on his part you have to pay for. I have had concrete decks done in South Carolina and I grew up in the construction trades, Two uncles in CA that are Masonry Contractors and shortly after I was discharged for Military I worked for about 1 1/2 for so I do know what I am talking about, the contractor set stakes up and we ordered sand clay and put a block wall and poured slab inside the wall to take care of large slope, I will not hire Wrightway for any of my future concrete work. As I said seems to be a nice young man so I did not get any other bids. Very poor workmanship with installing rebar. a few were just laid randomly. on the ground not one was wired and put on piers to hold them above ground. so in short there is no rebar or any kind of wire in the concrete to hold concrete together from ground movement I am considering Charging Wright Way for all additional costs to repair yard, redo concrete slab. I have two other contractors that said that they are willing to testify in court that this slab is inferior to any building standards. That no contractor would pour a garage slab below the ground level.

UPDATE 4/8/25: awsome attitude and communication at first . after one year driveway has multiple cracks and a chunk off. contacted charlie and his reponse was that it wasn't his fault, didn't come out to look at it or nothing. do not recommend ORIGINAL COMMENT: Awesome attitude and communication with us during the whole project.. going to use them again and highly recommend them
