KRAMER EXCAVATING INC

Feb 27, 2013 Bill Kramer did an EXCELLENT job on our 1/4 mile gravel driveway.  At that time Mr. Kramer fixed all the lumps and bumps in the road and we were thrilled to find a person who knew how to work on gravel driveways.  Well, this year, I started contacting them in April into May to work on our driveway again.  We needed a ditch dug on the side of our driveway so that water run off doesn't create ruts in our gravel driveway and we needed additional rock/gravel delivered and evenly distributed on the road.

Someone at his house takes calls but that seems to be the dead end.  I did get one call back and I was told that they were very busy in the spring.   I understand that putting in septic and cisterns takes priority over a driveway so I told them I would try again toward summer.  I then called again in June and July.  As of today, I have just given up on this person.  If Mr. Kramer is so busy that he cannot stop over to look at the job and give me a quote, the heck with his business...I am moving on.  If he didn't want the job, he should have just said he didn't do residential drives anymore or he could have supplied me with another company that he thought could do a good job.     I have now called another Excavating company.

WORKED WELL WITH OUR CONTRACTOR ROY SCHALK. THE END PRODUCT WAS A LITTLE LESS REFINED THAN EXPECTED, BUT IT WAS NOT TALKED ABOUT IN ADVANCE WHAT THE YARD WOULD LOOK LIKE WHEN COMPLETE. REMEMBER TO INCLUDE LANDSCAPING IN FUTURE PROJECTS. SCHEDULING WAS A LITTLE MORE DIFFICULT THAN WITH OUR OTHER SUBS. WEATHER WAS A BIG FACTOR.
