Went very well. Set up my appointment a few days ago, dropped my car off early today, and it was ready by close of business. I'm very happy with the repairs to my vehicle, and it now runs much better, and has much colder air conditioning.

They fixed the starter on my car when nobody else could get it to do the problem. It was dieing when I was driving, and several other places in town couldn't get it to do it. They acted like I was making it up, but modern automotive kept driving it until it died and then they fixed it. I also really liked how they didn't make me feel stupid, I've had other places ask to talk to my husband instead of me, but they explained everything really well to me. I really appropriated them not treating me like I didn't have a brain.

My daughter (20) needed service for her Ford Focus that continually had problems starting. I turned to Angie's List (this issue was why I joined in the first place) and found a different auto service company (Ty Riney Autocare) that suggested my daughter try Modern Automotive since they were a NAPA dealer and she had a NAPA alternator that was under 1 year old and could be replaced under warranty if that was the problem. Sweet! Modern Automotive found her alternator was fine but discovered a loose ground wire that was repaired. Unfortunately, when my daughter went to pick up her car, it would not start. They went back to work on the car and found that there was an aftermarket alarm system that was putting a drain on the battery. They corrected that issue and didn't charge her anything extra since they felt they should have found the problem the first time. Wow! Admitting an oversight AND not charging for it. My daughter has found her go-to auto service company now. And she has a backup with the original company she contacted due to their honesty in trying to save her some money. Thanks Angie's List and to these reputable service companies.
