The roofing crew did a great job. They were very considerate and hardworking. When they finished, they did an excellent job cleaning up. It's only been a few days, but everything seems good so far.

WE were coordinating from out of town for my mother-in-law's home. So, from that perspective, the service seemed to go fine. We thought the price was a bit high for a straight ranch (house) roof since our home's roof ( 3 separate HIGH pitched roofs) cost only 4K more in a larger metropolitan area.

It went fantastic. They put up the roof an installed a new attic fan and 6 ridge vents. They company got it done sooner than I even needed it done.

I wanted a new roof because the roof sags really bad in the middle. It did not leak, and the shingles were okay. The roofing company was supposed to fix this sag, and they did not. They added some new plywood to the roof, and then went ahead and put new shingles on. It sags just as bad now as before. I know I will end up replacing the roof, even if it does not leak. It just looks bad. They also were to replace the soffit in the back of the building, which they did. It does not fit right, and I will have to redo that too. I expected professional work.

Don't let this guy put your new roof on over the old one even if it is cheaper.

I got them off Angie’s list. He was excellent. He did an excellent job. He got on the roof and took care of the problem. He even cleaned the gutters. He did a very good job. He saved me a lot of money in the long run. I did not have any problem at all. I will definitely use him in the future and recommend him to others.

My overall experience with Mr Gill was excellent. He is a very down to earth person. It was a pleasure to do business with him and if I ever need another roof he will be the first person I call.

I called Eric after reading the favorable reviews on Angie's List. A storm blew through and tore many shingles off my older roof and ripped off part of my neighbor's barn roof. Eric was prompt. He came here with his daughter and gave me a quick and accurate estimate. The insurance company was happy with it and approved the roof.
Eric ordered the materials pronto, and his crew of 4 arrived several days later. He's real busy now because of all the storm damage, so I was glad he could fit me into the schedule. The guys tore off a whole side of the garage and reshingled in one afternoon. They worked well. I was glad to have them on the job. Eric has three crews, they said, and joked that they were the best.
Rain the next day prevented them from finishing the job. But they came out one day later with a crew of 3 and finished reroofing the second side. The roof looks great. They laid chalk lines for straight laying of shingles, of course, and they jumped on the task once they started. The men were courteous and efficient. They cleaned up well.
The only shortcoming was a mistake in materials. They were short some shingles to finish the crown on top--about 15 shingles probably--and had to order another bundle to finish the job. Eric and I talked on the phone and he said one of his guys would come out to finish the job soon, and then I'd send him the payment for the job. The main job was finished on July 17. I called Eric on July 21 to tell him I'd leave town for the weekend, and we agreed that someone would come out to finish the job. Today is July 28. We've had plenty of rain lately, so this prevents regular roofing. In short, it has been only 11 days since the near-completion of the roof, and I'm still waiting to get that crown fixed. The roof isn't leaking because of it, so there's no rush, and we've had plenty of rain.
I would have graded Eric A+ on everything if not for the crown/completion issue. Keep in mind that the weather has been rainy and that the storms have made him really busy. I certainly recommend him. I do look forward to the completion of the job, and he said he'd check out a leak problem on my main house from a shoddy job done by a previous roofer 3 years ago. I trust Eric to help with the problem.

Well it started a little shakey because the roofing supplier had the wrong address for the delivery and when they did find us they didn't bring enough material for the work crew and the flashing was the wrong color and they unloaded the shingles right in the place where the work crew could have put their trailer and made the labor easier for them. But the foreman of the work crew has been working for Eric for 14 years and he has seen every challenge and he handled it perfectly, made the necessary adjustments, got the right colors and the needed materials and never missed a beat. The crew was well organized and the five of them (including the foreman) hit the ground first thing in the morning (43 degrees) and everyone knew their job. They only stripped as much roof as they knew they would complete that day(it rains without much warning around here) and they completed the job in a day and a half. The foreman did the precision cuts around the valleys and vents and the roof seems and kept a watchful eye on the crew the entire time. (Except when he went for the extra materials and Ms. Wood baked some cookies for the boys- they took a "small" break for Pecan Chocolate Chunk Hot Cookies- wouldn't you?) They were all very polite and hard working and no "horsing around" that I saw. They were clean and left almost no trace they had done the job. A few cigarette butts and some cellophane from the shingles and 2 or 3 nails the magnet missed is all they left- very satisfied, elated even compared to the previous experience I had with a roofer at this address. Update 4-11-11: Had torrential rains so I thought it wuold be a good time to check for any leaks. We have one pretty significant leak so I called Mr. Gill at 7:00 pm. He came over immediately even though it was still raining, though not as hard as earlier. He and one of the crew fixed one leak, but there is still the main leak dripping. When it gets light he will be better able to see where the problem is, so we will see him tomorrow. I'll keep you posted, but I still like this guy's customer service. Not any I know would come out in the rain but he did and I appreciate the effort. Update 4-27-11: They found the problem (a faulty flange on a vent) repaired it and put new shingles back in place of the ones they pulled up. So far no leaks and we have had torrential rains since they fixed it on 4-20-11.

These guys were done in about 4 days. They actually ran out of roofing material and didnt charge me any extra for the rest of the material. They arrived when I was told they would arrive and these guys worked hard all day. My roof was over 30 squares with a pretty steep pitch. No easy roof. These guys are excellent! Highly Recommended!!!
