When I opted to not have my son's pick up truck repaired, I asked Jimmy at B & B Tire if there was a company that would pick up and scrap the truck for me. He recommended Causey's. I telephoned them and asked them to pick up the truck. I was told that the truck would be brought to their location on Morgantown Road and weighed. I was also told to bring the title with me to pick up the payment for its scrap value. When I went to Causey's later in the day and showed them my title, I was given the scale reading printout and a cash payment of $339.00. The clerk in the scales office not only paid me for the truck, she explained that I would need to take my scrap ticket, title, and registration to the court house to inform the clerk that the truck was scrapped. I appreciated that information. I would recommend Causey's for selling scrap metal.
