He was there within 30 minutes. Blair removed the electric meter to make the panel safe to work on and removed the main breaker and inspected it and cleaned the contacts and inspected the wiring but could really find no fault with the breaker or anything else. He did advise to discontinue running the dryer during the excessive heat and run it when demand was lower. He stated my particuler panel and breakers were obsolete and if I chose to change out the main breaker I would have to change out the entire panel, a massive and expensive undertaking. He further advised since the breaker had not yet "tripped" it was relatively safe to use but I would probably need to plan on changing the entire panel at some point.
