Our cat had an ongoing, chronic, generalized problem with intermittent diarrhea, complicated by a mild cerbral palsy-type condition (cerebellar hypoplasia).  Dr. Dozier was patient, gentle, thoughtful, and resourceful in his diagnosing of our kitty.  He addressed the immediate (have to get this cat to move solid bowels so he does not keep falling into the diarrhea in the litterbox), as well as the overall, longer range condition.  Dozier figured that based on the length of time, the frequency, blood work, and prior meds that had helped, that our cat was suffering from an absorption disorder and that it was likely a food allergy.  In conjunction with medications to aleviate the inflammation, we have been transitioning him to a non-gluten, novel protein, novel carb (duck & peas) based diet with excellent results.  Dozier explains how he is figuring out the situation, thinking out loud, so that we understood where the diagnosis was coming from.  That really helped with our confidence in the report, as we'd had others be somewhat dismissive about the problem prior to this office.  We highly recommend this vet office and this vet in particular.  He's golden.  A gem.
