Finding and repairing the cracked coolant line took some investigation time but was repair pretty quickly as was the motor replacement. We have relied on Keiffer to service our heating and cooling systems for at least 20 years.

l discovered that the water heater had failed about 1:00 PM and called Kiefer. We have used them to replace a furnace and air conditioner and other equipment over 20 years or so. len called back and said a crew would be on the way. i described the heater and he went to his supplier to get one while hei assistant came to our house and removed the old one. Len then delivered the water heater and they installed it over the next 2 hours. While here, Len serviced the heating/AC unit also.
I can't say enough good things about them. Once in the past, I assumed that the heating unit was bad. Len came out and looked at it and it turned out that the motor for the positive ventilation went out. They ordered one and installed it 2 days later when it arrived. He could easily taken me for a whole new furnace.
I trust Kiefer more than any other service company I've ever dealt with.

I noticed my air conditioner wasn't running, and it wasn't because of the wonderful weather. I called Kiefer yesterday afternoon, and they got here today at the appointed time. I have a big dog and a cat, and the tech was friendly to both. He figured out how to reprogram my furnace and thermostat to get them to communicate with each other. He also recommended I replace my filter in one month, and told me where to get the best deal. I always feel like Kiefer cares about saving me money. This visit was no exception.

They have done a lot of work for us. He was very responsive. They are friendly. I can let them have the key and go in and work. They are honest and good guys. It was an extremely complex job in a 100-year-old house. There were radiators there and he had to find ductwork where there were no places. He was extremely creative in figuring out how to get the air and heat to all the rooms without totally destroying the historic nature of the house. We like him and he has come to our house to work on the oil burner. We can call him and he is here within half an hour, even on a weekend. We have a bunch of historic rehabs in addition to our own home. His price is very fair.

They are really affordable and fast - they were able to come out the same day I called. If you do regular service with them they will give you discounts on regular work. I am very happyw ith themand would recommend them to anyone.
