He first worked almost every week day. As the weeks continued, he showed up less until he was only showing once a week. Our neighbor would tell us when he would arrive and leave. He usually worked 3-4 hours a day. After 4 months and still not finished, we tried to call him. He would not answer his cell or home phone. We left message about taking legal actions which forced him to finish. He even charged us mileage for driving to our house. My husband had to complain for him to redo several sections that were not done correctly. He would submit bills every 2-3 weeks for money and we paid; however, it took him 4 1/2 months to finish the job by threatening to sue him. We discovered he was doing other jobs instead of doing ours and put us last on his list if he had time. I do not recommend him. He also wanted to collect more money than what was in the contract telling us he had to invest more in doing our house. We would not pay it. His low bid made our decision to hire him.
