FedEx

I am physically disabled. They left the box on the barn instead of in front of my garage. There's a note on the barn door saying "Do not leave the box here", leave it to the front of the garage where the mailbox is. This is the second time this happened.

They are supposed to deliver it to my doorstep. However, the FedEx Ground employees are too lazy to walk the extra 20 feet to my doorstep and will put it in front of my garage or just wherever. I have called and complained to them about this and the fact that I have disability restrictions and can't carry heavy items above 15 pounds. Recently, I had another order delivered and they did it again- I had to go out and pick up the package, weighing 45 pounds. My neck is now extremely swollen, the right side of my body went completely numb forcing me to have to take medication, to contact my physician, to cancel my plans for the day, etc. The third delivery after I got very upset, they did eventually put the box on my front porch.

i spent lots of time on the phone with this company only to be told they would only cover 82.00 out of the 200.00 insured  they only sent me a check for 82.00.   they refuse to pay me anymore than that.  this was all their fault and they told me when i shipped the package that the insurance would cover it all if anything should happen to the package.   i had it sold and paid for by the buyer of this item for $200.00 i had to refund him the full 200.00 so fed ex should now refund me the full amount. 
i will never use this company again!

I ordered a new area rug to be delivered on 12/15/2010...still waiting. The 800 number is of no help and the local center is only open two hours during the work day, so that people who actually work can't pick up items or must sit home and wait. They placed items on an uncovered sidewalk during inclement weather when a covered porch was just steps away, and that same item's box was badly damaged that the internal box was damaged, as well. It could not even be used for gift wrapping purposes. Still waiting to find out the whereabouts of a $$$ rug. Use a different company if you want your items. I even have pictures of the damaged goods.
