After a tremendous amount of time spent searching, Susan Fleming with Century 21 landed us a great deal. First of all, I commend the agent for her patience and gracious attitude in showing us property after property, until we found the home best suited for us. She had her work cut out for her - as our specification list was a lengthy one. For example, in our blended family, we have six children, one of which uses a wheelchair. We wanted an upstairs laundry area, and a layout that allowed for maximum independence for our disabled child. We also wanted a garage, a nice, residential area, as well as a spacious yard (doesn't everyone?). In addition to this, we needed a seller to accept a contingency offer based on the sale of another residence... all without breaking the bank. Simple, right? Not so. We fell in love with several properties, wrote offers, which didn't work out for one reason or another.
