A1 Pet Sitting

I was pleased. Upon my return both cats were relaxed. No hissy fits or punishment for me being away. Would definitely hire again.

This is the third time we've used A1 Pet Sitting for pet care during vacation, and we've always been much more than satisfied!  Each time Terri has provided a sitter that loves cats and knows exactly how they need to be cared for.  The visit isn't a quick in and out - they take the time to provide the attention our pets needed and to make sure they feel loved.  From taking in the mail, to turning lights on and off  around the house, to taking care of each cat's unique needs, Terri and her team make sure every detail of our wishes are carried out completely!  One of our cats is very timid, but Terri's sitters worked gently with her to coax her out from under the bed so that she could be comforted and not feel so alone.  Very impressive!  We have recommended Terri to many people and will definitely call her again next time vacation rolls around!

Terri is fantastic!  She is very loving and playful with our pup.  She takes him out, goes for walks, plays with him, and even reinforces some of our training.  And my dog loves her soooo much :)

Awesome. Could not be happier. They stayed at the house and kept us update on how he was doing.

 I hired A1 Petsitters to walk my dog, Bart, while I recovered from rotator cuff surgery. I live in an apartment and had to have someone that would be there early to take Bart out and come back again later in the day, seven days a week. I would manage getting him out the rest of the time. I wanted someone I could depend on.  I had no experience with a dog walking service and found the site online.  I called and talked to Terri (Owner) explaining what I wanted.  We set up a time for her and LeeAnn (employee) to come and meet Bart and me.  Many of the services I spoke to charge for the first meeting/evaluation.  Terri does not. I ask for references which Terri gladly gave me.  Every reference I called spoke highly of the service and I was repeatedly told how good they were.  The meeting went well and I chose to hire A1.  LeeAnn came every morning.  She was always on time.  Even with it being some of the worst snow storms and lowest temperatures of the awful winter, she was there!  Bart is 13 years old, spoiled and was very protective of me while I was healing.  Both Terri and LeeAnn were patient with him and coaxed and talked him into taking walks with them.  He was not keen on leaving my side.  Even to go out.  His whole routine was changing and they were great with him!  Terri would come every afternoon and take Bart for a walk again.  I don't think Terri ever failed to ask if there was anything she could do for me.  She offered to pick up groceries- whatever I needed to help out.

The care provided by these two ladies was so much more than a "service".  I witnessed every time they walked into my home and the way they acted with Bart. These ladies genuinely care about the pets they are caring for.  This is not just a "job" for them.      

Getting Bart taken care of was one of my greatest worries about having the surgery.  Thanks to Terri and LeeAnn it became the least!  I knew he was in good hands and that allowed me to concentrate on healing.  I would hire A1 Petsitters again anytime!   

The sitter was very attentive and documented everything she did during her time at the house.  The house was left in a very clean condition...probably a little cleaner than we left it!  We requested another day of service due to extending vacation, and they provided it with no problems at all.  We are extremely pleased with the service and will definitely use them again!

We found NKY Pet Sitters through a different website and perused their services months before our vacation.  Terri's qualifications were incredible, but I assumed she would be out of our price range.  The next day she initiated contact with me via email.  Apparently the other website I used allows the website owners to see who viewed their profile.  We (my husband and animal family) met with her shortly after our initial contact for an interview.  Terri impressed us in every way possible!!  Her interaction with our babies was phenomenal!!  They loved her!!  
A few days before our vacation, Terri came by and met with us again to go over all of our house and pet details.  She spent a good 2 hours with us, getting familiar with our babies and our home.
I must admit that my husband and I were very apprehensive about leaving, especially since we were traveling to Europe and knew that phone contact would not be easy.  Terri put us at ease immediately.  She would email and text us little updates, while away, about our babies and let us know how everything was going.  She constantly assured us about everything, knowing how particular and apprehensive we were about the whole situation.  
When we returned home, we were absolutely delighted!!  The house was immaculate, as we left it, and she had left us a daily journal about her adventures with our brood.  We loved it!!!  She also left a few little special treats and toys for them!  There are not enough words to express our immense gratitude to Terri for taking care of our home and our babies for those 2 weeks!!  Thank you so, so much!!!  It is such a relief

It went wonderfully.  I cannot say enough good things about them.  They came three times a day, fed and watered my dog, gave him lots of love, stayed with him in the yard to keep him company, watered our plants, took in our mail, rotated our lights, took out and brought back our garbage cans, they even cleaned up the house a litte.  They kept a log of every visit, when they came, how Korbin was doing and what they did.  They kept in contact with me through the entire trip which put mind at ease because Korbin (our dog) is a big part of our family, and we missed him and worried about him.  Korbin (my dog) was very happy when we came back but also relaxed, bright eyed, healthy.  I could tell that, while he was happy we were back, he had not suffered any stress while we were away. Any accidents he might have had (he's an old dog), were cleaned up.  We couldn't have been more pleased.  Terri communicated with me the day we were supposed to be back to make sure that we were still on schedule, she didn't just say, "Well, that's all I was contracted for - you're on your own now dog!"  She made sure that he was going to be cared for until we returned.  She also followed up with me a few days later to make sure that I was pleased with everything and that Korbin was still doing okay.  This is the best pet service you could ever want.  Also, I priced around before I chose Terri, and for three visits a day, and what you get during those visits, you won't find anyone better.

Better than we could have imagined, we would recommend NKY Pet Sitter to all of our friends and family. You will never use a kennel again!

Terri has found her calling in life around her love for animals.
In addition to pet-sitting and dog-walking she assists with
training and is active with local shelters to find good homes
for deserving pets. She is very thorough, professional and
responsible. I  learned about her business not long before
departing on a 10-day vacation. It was good fortune as I
was contemplating boarding my two adopted cats. It was
good for the cats to remain in their familiar environment.
Terri or her associate came twice a day for feedings and
play. I plan to employ her for another trip this spring.
