Nate from S&A construction was a joy to work with. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions in depth. This was greatly appreciated, as I know very little about roofing. He met with the insurance adjuster at my house to make sure nothing was missed. He kept in contact with the adjuster to work out the details. I felt very comfortable with Nate – I never felt he would take advantage of my lack of construction knowledge. I had complete trust in him. The work was performed quickly and efficiently. I was out of town when the work was done. When I arrived home, there were no signs that they had even been there. I was very impressed with their work and professionalism. Highly recommended!

It has been 6 years since our roof was replaced by S&A and since then I have had to repair an exhaust fan screen they didn't reinstall correctly. Anytime I have to get on the roof to clean off branches I notice where their installation was poor in places. The gutter job with gutter covers is completely unprofessional as we had to replace one gutter and will have to replace the covers in the future. Working with the owner from the beginning was a pain compared to a roofing company out of Topeka I recently hired to replace my mom's roof & gutters. Working with that particular company & getting what we needed from them showed me just how much S&A was lacking. Listen to your customers, give them what they want & need, & they will probably hire you again. The reason I write this now is because of another exterior project we are doing where the contractor is noticing a lot of mistakes made around the perimeter of the roof. Definately not quality work.

Excellent on time and completed in timely manner

Great job, very nice work. Had our shower resurfaced and it looks brand new. Just a little bit of a problem with some of the white paint getting on my dark grout on the bathroom floor, but otherwise great job.

I have hired them but they are a couple of weeks out on starting

I hired them to do my bathroom and floor in the kitchen. I love my new bathroom but I have some minor issues with the floor in the kitchen, that I'm waiting for them to fix it. Other than that I’m happy with the work.

S&A Construction installed the roof in 2009. I was not home when the repair for the leak around the vent pipe was done so I do not know how long it took, but it was done within 2 days of my phone call. We had some heavy rain a few days ago and there was no leak. They did not charge me for the repair.

Very professional and thorough from the beginning to the end. I needed the work done as soon as possible and they accommodated my request. They took pictures of the work as it was being done, nice! I will be calling them for my improvement projects very soon.

They were prompt and polite, knew what to do and made the repair in a timely manor. It was a small repair that took less than 1 hour.

This company often showed up late or not at all!! They put egress window in the basement and the bolt hole used to secure the window well to the foundation never got sealed!! They came out to fix the problem after 5 days of mold growing and major sheet rock damage!! If they would have remembered to seal the hole $10 sealant tube could have prevented this!! Also they hung newly stained closet doors in the bedroom with a hand print in the stain!! It had varnish over it and everything!! This company does poor work and hopes you will not notice before they are gone!! I would recommend someone else

do not hesitate to hire this contractor. They are a busy bunch, so let them know as soon as possible, when you want to start your project. They are very professional, extremely customer-oriented, and great people to work with.

The work is "still in progress," but to date the work has been excellent and contact with the representative as close and as often as our telephones. Rep is always available and keeps in regular contact by phone or stopping by. Employees performing the work are experts and really know their work.

Worked with Deryk from S & A. They were recommended by our insurance company to replace the hail damaged roof. They worked directly with our insurance company for supplemental payment for necessary upgrades to bring the roof into code as well, so I didn't have to worry about any of it. They worked quickly - removed and replaced shingles on our duplex and garage in a single day.
