R & R PLUMBING

Referred by Lowes, installed sink in kitchen, reinstalled water filter, garbage disposer, and Moen faucet. The sink was installed crooked to the front edge of the countertop, caulking was rough and did not seal completely especially at the back edge of the sink, and $120 charges were made in addition to the amount already paid Lowes for installation. A second visit, apparently required by Lowes under their contract to allow installer to correct situation, resulted in their confirmation that they could not have done a better job given the existing countertop cutout. On the second visit, main plumber was wearing glasses. No action was attempted. Another plumber confirmed that the sink could have been installed correctly and that the caulking was substandard in coverage and smoothness. Lowes provided compensation and replacement sink. Original plumbers were courteous but unskilled in detail work. I would only recommend them for unseen work, like water heater installation.

Bought a sink and disposal install from Lowe's ($175). They sent R&R. While they were here, I had them replace a broken bathtub faucet which involved cutting into the wall and desoldering/soldering and worked on a shower head ($145). One fitting leaked and they came right out and fixed it. My wife and I were very pleased, both with Lowe's and R&R.
