PODS Moving & Storage

The delivery went perfect.  Every person I worked with at the local office (wichita) was impressively professional and helpful.  When scheduling things online, there were billing issues (all the billing is done by PODs corporate office, not the franchise) but the local office was able to straighten things out.  I did not purchase the 'extra' insurance for the POD or my belongings since my home owners insurance would cover it (I double checked with my insurance).
The POD was relocated without any issues and all the storage items were in the exact location after the move as the were prior to the move.  The machine they use to move the POD is quite impressive.
PODs isn't a cheap option in comparison to taking items to a storage unit, but for the convenience of being able to load and unload it on your time schedule, it can not be beat for a short term option.
I did not use the option for storing the unit at the PODs facility, so I have no info for utilizing their storeage.
The only thing I didn't care for was they billed for an entire month, even for long term rentals, not an extra day or week charge. I had to carefully watch the calendar to ensure I did not go a day over or I'd be billed for another month.  I understand why they do this, but I would like to have seen some flexibility for a longer term rental (3+ months) in which I would have extra day or week charge, instead of an entire month.
