OxyMagic of Wichita Carpet Cleaning

I was unable to get OxyMagic of Wichita Carpet Cleaning to respond to my emails requesting service. I sent two emails through Angie's List. The second with my phone number requesting a call.

This was our first time with OxyMagic. Tried them because of our frustration with several other carpet cleaners in the past. We described requested services over the phone (# of rooms and hallways needing carpet cleaning). I was given an estimate of $149 over the phone. They did not ask about type of carpet ( ours was a thick white shag) or size of rooms (ours were on the larger size). They were able to schedule within a very few days. They were exactly on time and completed the job in 1 1/2 hrs as they had estimated over the phone. The technician was very friendly and professional. He said when he arrived that our major traffic areas would be improved some but that it would be difficult to improve them a lot. This was no surprise to us in that other companies had had a very difficult time with these areas in the past. Have to say those high-traffic areas turned out better than previous carpet cleaners, but not perfect. On the phone they said it would take 1 1/2 hours to dry, much less time than previous carpet cleaners. They did not move any furniture, but they were up front about that in the phone estimate so we moved chairs and small items before they came. No problem. Took a little longer to dry than they said but no surprise with our thick shag. Still much less time than previous cleaners. Our kitchen carpet took very little time to dry. Even with our thick shag and large rooms, they stuck with their $149 estimate which included sales tax, much to our surprise. Wanted a check at cleaning completion. No problem for us. The only reason I gave them a B on quality was that I was hoping for thoroughly clean major walkways. They were improved, definitely, but was hoping for perfect.

Punctual, very nice technician2c dries fast as promised, but just didn't get the carpet as clean as Stanley Steamer has in the past. Equipment is bulkier and doesn't fit in corners, so they remain dirty. The tech had to do the stairs by hand and they look like they weren't touched.

They did a good job. They honored our coupon and kept with the price. I was really pleased with their work.
